Col
if the Poles carry out their threat of riders only riding in two leagues then that would stop Lindgrens return to Wolves. If Lindgren stays with Lokomotiv Daugavpils as he has been with for the past 2 years in the Polish 2nd Division I don't believe he would be affected by any such ruling. However I can see him giving the BEL a break to concentrate on GP's again. Edited October 6, 2016 by Col
R87
Lindgren has rode for us for 14 years consecutively now I think. Can't see that suddenly stopping soon. Yes you might be right to be fair, only really mentioned him because he's good around the Green. Seemed to seriously lack speed over the 2 legs. His form at Monmore has been patchy in the last couple of seasons. Edited October 6, 2016 by mb1990
dj350z
In your humble opinion. I think he is a great ambassador for speedway, does a lot for charity, a great speedway rider and a thoroughly nice chap (although I don't like his tattoos but I can live with that). Fully agree with you Steve0. I have enjoyed watching him in the EL this season and bringing a bit of theatre to the sport. Lets face it - it needs it!! SCB
I'd take Woffy at Coventry in a heat beat. Never really wanted Ward at Coventry. Both not the nicest of people but Woffy is just a bit petty, never actually done any harm to anyone.

Col
What do - Harris, Masters, Thorsell, Musielak, Clegg (ELD) come to?
Dandelion
1. Fredrik Lindgren 7.21 2. Sam Masters 7.18 3. Jacob Thorsell 7.06 4. Tai Woffinden 7.03 5. Chris Harris 6.58 6. Max Clegg 4.15/Kyle Howarth (If the EDL averages get set to 4.00 for start of season/Ludvig Lindgren 4.34 7. Ashley Morris 3.00 Total 42.21/42.06/42.40 Assuming the limit and current averages will stay the same, I know probably unrealistic, but what a team What do - Harris, Masters, Thorsell, Musielak, Clegg (ELD) come to? Harris 6.58, Masters 7.18, Thorsell 7.06, Musielak 4.53 and Clegg 4.15 so it would be 29.50 leaving 13 points for final 2 riders

CB252
I hope not Don't see why you wouldn't want that team? Would be super strong at Monmore and do enough away to breeze into the Playoffs and probably win them. Doubt anybody's team will end up that strong though.
Tommy Sweetman
In his newspaper column yesterday,Nigel Pearson says it was wrong to doubt CVS and Peter Adams. Some of us ? saying Adams should have retired, and had lost the plot, and a new man in charge was needed.CVS was to loyal and should have sold up. And then calling us keyboard experts and anonymous cowards. That's a bit strong Nige..................... Wonder if hes referring to me and Wolfsbane .
CB252
We all keep hearing how CVS radically rebuilt the team and went against his normal principals of using assets that had umpteen years of service. Yet the team that won the League featured PK, Fred, Woffy and Thorssell who have decades of Monmore service behind them. Hardly a groundbreaking team reshuffle. Would the team with Bech and JK in it have won the League? No chance. Good management bringing Tai in though.

Perhaps Pearson and Woffinden have attended a Gerald Ratner PR course. To me not using your real identity on internet forums and making sure you have the right security settings on social media is common sense. I don't think these younger people understand modern technology.

Like I'm going to listen to the Pearson's opinion, Spoon loving $hite supporter. If I met him face to face I'd ask him one question, 'When was the last time you paid to get into Monmore Green?'. I don't need to ask as I already know the answer. When fans are let in free that's the day they're not allowed a say I'm happy to be called a keyboard expert, a lot on here would disagree Edited October 8, 2016 by Wolfsbane

Steve0
Don't forget the master stroke of bringing Masters in when some I recall thought he would struggle at EL level. Huge signing. Masters was never going to be a flop. In my opinion, he is the best of the current crop of Aussies outside of Doyle and Holder.

I agree, but you didn't see many saying that his signing was a good move. A slow burner like Doyle IMHO.
