Steve Shovlar
In 2004 Wolves lost the the play-off final to Poole. That year the team was Ermolenko, Max, Howe, Nermark, Skornicki, Carillo/Lindgren, Neath/Stead. Nermark got injured quite early so Wolves operated R/R for him all year. Lindgren & Skornicki spent the season swapping between 2nd string & reserve. I can't even find a Polish 2nd Division average for Skornicki last season, did he even ride? http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/i-liga/statystyki/2016 No he was a team manager. Should we not sign Lindgren as a No 1 as he was a reserve in 2004?

That's any questions answered regarding his ability to fulfil the role he would be needed for. Edited December 5, 2016 by BWitcher

So he's ridden a few times in the last two seasons. Just why has he been given a reduction? He has ridden in one meeting since his injury and stopped riding to team manage. The other meetings are from the tail end of this season.

INCOGNITO
Adam Skornicki last had an average from his time at Wolverhampton in 2013 when he averaged 6.14 so his real average would have been 8.59 but after time out injured his average has been reduced to 7.22 and while he may be thought of as a gamble, that tag has been with him a few times. When he signed for Poole there was comments about him but he proved them wrong and became a firm favourite there and wherever he has been and always proved the doubters wrong. If you take off the 1.4 he is at 5.16 in the old Elite League averages and as a second string against the likes of Lasse Bjerre, Stuart Robson, Kai Huckenback etc I'm sure he can still hold his own and is possibly worth a few points to any team by being in the team with younger riders he can help as he has been doing at Leszno with Piotr Pawlicki.
outofdarkness
Adam has without doubt always given 110% effort. His commitment is undoubtedly there for all to see.Personally i believe he would do an honest job, reliable and a real team player and as already stated would do a PK's job .His experience will be invaluable. As others have mentioned not a risk.As long as his machinery is up to scratch and he feels ready to ride, which obviously he does, then i trust cvs and Pete adams to make the correct decision. If he is given a team place then i don't believe he will let us down Edited December 5, 2016 by outofdarkness

Tommy Sweetman
So presumably now that Somerset have put their joke side together, and have omitted asset Sam Masters, its surely only time before Wolves announce him as their next signing. But very surprised the Rebels, havent included BWD in their plans. What average would he come in on?.
superguest
Good shout TS! 1. Freddie Lindgren 10.09 2. Kyle Howarth 7.18 3. Sam Masters 8.97 4. Bradley Wilson-Dean 5.02 5. Jacob Thorssell 9.88 6. Max Clegg 4.34 7. Arthur Sissis 4.00 49.42 Gives 4.58 for the last spot...looking at riders on that figure...only Matt Williamson would be any better imo. R87
I think you might need to do a little more research. He last rode in the UK in 2014, he was No 1 for Birmingham. Skornicki has been rock steady his entire career for Wolves with very little deviation in average, usually alternating between second string and 3rd heat leader in MUCH stronger leagues. Absolutely nothing like a 'strong reserve'. Now he would be effectively on an average just over 5.00 in a far weaker league and spend most likely the entire year as a second string. The impression I got last week was that Adam may be a possibility, but isn't a first choice.
BWitcher
The impression I got last week was that Adam may be a possibility, but isn't a first choice. Hardly surprising. I wonder how much effort was actually made with Klindt. Aren't clubs meant to obtain permission to discuss terms with an asset of another club, or did that rule change?

They are but no doubt riders talk to each other, sometimes with and sometimes without the interested clubs knowledge.
