Woz01
Is that definite that 2 pointers can feature in the top flight? Any team that has two 2 pointers is virtually guaranteed not to make the top 4. Yep the BSPA confirmed it on twitter.
Col
Is that definite that 2 pointers can feature in the top flight? Any team that has two 2 pointers is virtually guaranteed not to make the top 4. Depends on the 2 pointer. 3 years ago Robert Lambert would have been a 2 pointer. I tend to agree it would be risky going with two 2 pointers at reserve to start the year.
New Science
Yep. Both reserves can be 2.00!!! It looks a bit ridiculous to have reserves on a 2 point average and Number 1 on a 13.41 average such is the case at Swindon

Tommy Sweetman
And some on here said,---- 4.04 & 3.76 was to weak. Blimey,if we bring in Klindt at reserve on 5.42,he will think hes in dreamland(well he might beat a few of them when hes on the outside gate) (* Sorry about that BW and Wolfsbane )

Would think Bewley rode enough matches to get a proper average, Blackburn hasn't got an average so is 3, only riders who have an actual average of below 3 can start on that down to a minimum of

waiheke1
Is that definite that 2 pointers can feature in the top flight? Any team that has two 2 pointers is virtually guaranteed not to make the top 4. Disagree. If you have 2 2 pters you reslisticslly hope they score 2 each at home and 2 each away. So over 2 team members you have dropped a total of 1 point off the starting average. If u go with 2 riders like nielsen or sarjeant on 5.5+ averages, or say Williamson on a 3.76, I'd be confident you ate going to drop far more points than that vs starting average, and have a weaker top 5. This season i think there is no right way to structure your team, every side will be weak somewhere. And some on here said,---- 4.04 & 3.76 was to weak. Blimey,if we bring in Klindt at reserve on 5.42,he will think hes in dreamland(well he might beat a few of them when hes on the outside gate) (* Sorry about that BW and Wolfsbane ) Clegg is excellent value. Williamson I'd be tempted to save the 1.76 to strengthen elsewhere.Would think Bewley rode enough matches to get a proper average, Blackburn hasn't got an average so is 3, only riders who have an actual average of below 3 can start on that down to a minimum of 2mBewley is a 4. I believe you are missing interpreting the rule around who can be a 2pter. I expect Blackburn would be, as he has not attained a 3 pt pl average. There are very few genuine 2 pointers who would be even expected to be anything but out their depth IMHO. JPB and perhaps Jack Smith might be worth risking a chance on. I agree with you that no structure than another is better at this stage of the game. Could make it very open more so than quite a while. Panthers89
If you go with two 2.00 reserves, you'll have an average of 9.20 for your remaining 5 riders, is that worth the risk?

Col
I'm sure they will start their team building plans with Klindt & Clegg at reserve, then Manzares as he is 0.01 higher than Klindt. Manzares 5.43 Harris 9.21 Masters 8.97 Klindt 5.42 Clegg 4.34 Leaves 16.63 If Lindgren decides to ride in Britain with his GP commitments on 10.09 I'd say that is bargain #1 in the league leaving 6.54 for the final rider, if Lindgren decides the Premiership is not for him then Thorsell leaving 6.75. If Harris goes else where and they can sign both Lindgren & Throsell they still have 5.87 to work with to keep Klindt at reserve. I cannot see Howarth returning to Monmore. Tommy Sweetman
Wolves signing announced tomorrow, according to Nige on Twitter. Why change the winning habit Sign up the same rider, who was first on the team sheet last season. Max Clegg. Its about time he was made a club asset, nothing to stop other clubs come sniffing around otherwise.
