In that case I apologise.

But obviously we went through the "illness" saga against the Panties very recently.

So I hope he makes an early recovery.

Decent reaction from a speedway fan that just happens to be a monarch. Aaron spoke over the tannoy at the end of last weeks meeting and I thought somethings gone wrong with the Pa as it didn't sound like him - a bit deep and hoarse, now we know why.

Poor guys I'm sure the pair of them will be fine by Saturday/Sunday.

On the other hand Dr Blobby has spoken. I assume you'll understand that thanks to your PR skills your likelihood of a decent attendance on Friday has just plummetted.

They both would've been there tomorrow if it meant something. Not that I'm bothered.

Some decent racing and a good send off for the fish tomorrow is all that matters IMO.

Priceless i nearly believed that for a minute then i came to my senses.

You have to laugh.

But he'll have made a full and miraculous recovery by Sunday no doubt.

But hey ho it happens all the time.

Saving himself for the important stuff

I just love the dry sense of humour it will be lost in translation though the further East it goes.

Reminds me of something a maths teacher once said in our school.

"There are somethings you can't have a half of .... for example, you cant be half a virgin".

Couldn't make this up fighting fund will need to dig deep tonight to pay the riders and officials left kicking there heels in the pits.

On a more positive note it looks like we will escape from the trick dome injury free in this nothing match.

Another nail in the coffin of British Speedway just got a txt from my mate saying they haven't a clue what is going on and people leaving the stadium now . Farcical was the word at the end of his txt.

Meeting now off this will cost Edinburgh a pretty penny in all the cost's to officials , riders , etc not to mention the paying public to be refunded as i can't see how we can fit this in now with all the other meetings we have still to come.

I know that is probably outwith the Edinburgh promotions control but from what i have been told the communication was poor to say the least.

Will the BSPA see fit to impose a fine if Edinburgh can't stage this now would be harsh but you never know.

Hopefully sense will prevail. Given the happenings around speedway at the moment fines are the last thing we need.

A 50p in the meter would have made more sense surely

You're mate must be pretty thick. The lights were out. The clue was the darkness.
