stevebrum
I don't get this anti KK stuff that has been wallowing around bsf, perpetrated by one sad individual (this thread is yet ANOTHER fine example of his small man style of arguing zzzzz), for a while now. As far as I'm concerned KK is a top class rider and when he rode for The Aces he hardly missed a meeting and finished the season in the top five (or higher?) in the averages. As for the comparison with Cook. In the UK there's not much in it now, I doubt KK has ever had a lower average than Cook though. However, as a Belle Vue fan, when it's so close I'd always pick the British rider. Glad to see you agree with me even with your usual style of attack. foreverblue
As a Wolves fan I would take Cook 100 times out of 100 over KK as well. If I was a Poole fan, different story. Yes but that is no doubt because Cook rides Monmore better than KK
LisaColette
Ive never said he didn't , ?Yeah, I know. I just meant KK cares about Poole like Cook does about BV. That is probably why both sets of fans are happy with the respective riders being in their team line ups.
stevebrum
Yeah, I know. I just meant KK cares about Poole like Cook does about BV. That is probably why both sets of fans are happy with the respective riders being in their team line ups. Exactly. Plus no one is saying Cook is a better rider than KK because of that opinion either. Lumbering Richie with a 8.49 average as done him no favours at all Aces have to build the strongest squad possible If that means drafting Sedgeman in So be it

AlanF
If they want to use Bewley and Smith as reserves then they can't use Worrall, unless the rules have been changed regarding doubling up. If a Belle Vue promotion had been in place throughout the off season, I expect they would have steered either Worrall or Bewley in a different direction regarding their Championship team. I thought he was replacing Zagar but from what you say Zagar is staying put. Interesting.

OveFundinFan
So does that mean Richie Worral has not got a team ride in the Premier league 2017....... if so, there has to be something seriously wrong with the system. He's British, and therefore he should be getting a place before any foreign rider Edited February 12, 2017 by OveFundinFan

markyb
You wrote quite clearly, "I would take Cook over KK 100 times out of 100". I didn't misread it. You said it. However, its a pointless argument cluttering up the Belle Vue thread and I don't want to turn this into anothe Gavan V Starman or whoever he is trolling so will leave it there. Where is Kirby? Tsunami
So does that mean Richie Worral has not got a team ride in the Premier league 2017....... if so, there has to be something seriously wrong with the system. He's British, and therefore he should be getting a place before any foreign rider It's not really the system that has produced this outcome. It is the doubt of running at BV and Leicester that has produced the unfortunate non signings. As disappointing as it is I am sure they will both get berths in teams before the season is very old. waiheke1
KK was 0.6 better than Cook last season, thats not much and out of the 2 maybe Cook will improve. Fricke and Andersen averaged the same last season and Hans wasnt a heat leader for some of that. I would expect the improving Fricke to average more than Andersen who isnt going to get better Granted nothing between Kurtz and Worrall. So not much between Belle Vues heat leaders and Pooles in my opinion. The troll said with those 3 heat leaders Belle Vue will struggle with Leicester. Im merely pointing out that nothing between Belle Vues top 3 and Pooles , therefore if he thinks one will struggle then so would the other! Just tongue in cheek aimed at someone whose sole purpose is to wind others up " Anti Poole agenda " ? ... Where ? , He's just stating his opinion isn't he ? I'd actually prefer Max Fricke over an ageing Hans Andersen , doesn't mean i dont rate HA or dislike Poole Pirates . The fact that he says Andersen the same as Fricke last season, but actually Hans averaged around 0.7 more. The fact that he highlights that Andersen didn't rise all his meetings as a HL last year (implying that that boosted his average), but neglects to mention that while Hans rode less than 10% of his meetings as a 2nd string, Fricke rode 70% of his meetings as a second string. Gavan makes plenty of good and reasonable points, but its very rare for there not to be some dig at Poole at least in every 2nd post, whatever the topic. FWIW, I'd rather have Fricke back at Belle Vue than Hans as well!

Fascinating reading, and thanks Rob. We await with baited breath the response from the BSPA, SCB and MCC........I think they all owe us that much? No doubt the resident BSPA puppet on here will adopt his usual pompous attitude and try to brush this under the carpet by attempting to ridicule every comment on the subject, but the speedway public of Britain deserve far better than that.
