Belle Vue 2017

Recommended Posts

Would you sell tickets after the shambles of the opening meeting after they were told the track was not fit for racing but still went ahead. My answer to any fan of my club would be contact Belle Vue direct at your pearl

I know there has been 1533 posts on this thread before yours, but have you been following along at all?

Sounds logical to promote the major national and international meetings held in the UK, no matter which track. To quote a famous phrase - we're all in this together.

Wrong 1534 . Sorry will ask your permission the next time i would like to make a comment

Nah, dont start that, every one will want to jump on the bandwagon

Do they do REFUNDS

In fairness to Belle Vue, they did do refunds of the opening meeting tickets for quite a long time. I can't say exactly when that became more of a problem getting your money back, I would hazard a guess from late August onwards. I know someone who held on to his tickets too long despite being told to get them cashed earlier. We called in on the way to the Play Off Final at Wolves. They wouldn't give cash, just a 'cheque in the post'. Needless to say, he is still waiting for the x3 ticket refund.

However, if you went in and requested swapping for league match tickets, that presented no problem. I ended up buying tickets off others during the season, who were season ticket holders and exchanging them for league tickets. At least they did not lose out. I actually exchanged the last one for the Play Off 2nd leg after the Lakeside semi final in late September.

I suspect there are quite a few who fell foul of the false promises that they could use them for 2017 running of the Peter Craven MT meeting. A statement that was still being made in the days leading up to the gates being locked and the locks changed. Its hard to imagine they did not know that the 'grim reaper' was waiting round the corner.

Perhaps other clubs refused to sell tickets on behalf of Belle Vue because they had an idea of the debt level at BV? And didn't want the ticket money, not to go to rider wages?

But, I thought any track including the holding track would be selling the BF tickets on behalf of the BSPA as it was a BSPA Event?

I'm a little confused with regards to clubs not selling British Final tickets. I was totally unaware that this happens anyway. I can't remember King's Lynn ever advertising the sale of tickets for this event or any other BSPA event not held at the AFA?!?

Let us not forget that clubs are expected to sell Cardiff tickets even though they are available on the internet.

All clubs get an allocation as far as I know.

I might be wrong but I don't think that happens, probably due to it being a BSI/IMG event. Go on the internet direct and you can choose your individual selection of seat/s. How can a track do that.

Belle Vue have sold tickets for Cardiff for a long time... I assumed they were allocated a block of tickets and the Aces fans sat together

Of course that's how it works! There is absolutely no reason why it shouldn't have been the same for the British Final.

I can't work out if tsumani wanted to deliberately reveal the saaad (sic) jealousy of some promoters or if it was accidental and he has put his foot in it.

Neither actually.

Call it how you want Tsunami........I just find your general arrogance irritating and your hypocrisy second to none.

There's plenty who don't. I don't miss your 'likes', but i appreciate it when others do like what I comment.

Just like Coventry fans should forget 2010 AGM, you need to get out of the Subedei influence.

At least I try to contribute to discussions, but you just attack others contribution. Nil contribution from you.

Time for you to jog on.

So, some promoters knew something was amiss at the NSS, and allegedly refused to take any tickets to sell to their fans..

What was it that they knew, and why did they keep it to themselves? Why didn't they discuss it with other BSPA members, ask for an extraordinary meeting to vex, or to sort out the problem/s then?

Just wondering why they kept it to themselves, whilst it also festered away, and probably got worse, as the season went on...

Why didn't any of them bring the problem up???
