SteveLyric2
People might get even more confused with your use of 'cup' this coming season as there will of course be a proper one to contest!!
foreverblue
I can see where you went wrong now. There was a brief discussion on the merits of Belle Vue signing Jacobs, a rider who is good at home but not that good away and that home wins are more important than away wins to keep the vast majority of fans happy. I agreed with the point and backed it up with the fact that you can lose nearly as many away meetings as the bottom team and still win the cup. Nothing to do with winning points away, quite the opposite in fact. It's always good to read a thread to make sure the point you've taken is relevant. Of course any team can win the cup its a knock out competion

While you're in explaining mode, why did you include the play-off matches lost by Wolves in your comparison with other sides who didn't reach that stage?
Fourentee
Right, thanks. I wasn't sure whether this assertion 'Indeed, only the bottom two lost more away meetings than the cup winners' was merely a small error on your part concerning regular season results (as Lakeside lost more) or whether you were including play-off results in your comparison. But your last paragraph clears that up. Thanks again.
Col
The SGP website release... Belle Vue favourites Craig Cook, Max Fricke and brothers Richie and Steven Worrall have been reserved for the Aces and are said to be likely starters at Kirkmanshulme Lane this year. I think you know your top 4.

damosuzuki
If you ask me, Cook, Fricke and the Worrals makes a strong top 4 in the new setup. Between them I'm sure a clear #1 will appear. Mon the aces.

jimmy jimmy
the rumours of Rory Schlein coming back are probably false now it looks like his sponsor isn't the preferred bidder? so the questions now are? Richie Worrall in or out? Someone like Justin Sedgman possibly coming in (not picked up yet and big fast track would suit him), and partner reserve to go with Bewley? WestGorton1884
I think Dimitri Berge would be a revelation around the NSS, And with a relatively low average of 6.91, Could be a great acquisition? mikebv
I think Dimitri Berge would be a revelation around the NSS, And with a relatively low average of 6.91, Could be a great acquisition? A good few from the World U21 round last year seemed to take a liking to the track.. Erik Riss was another (6.85)... Fast with good equipment... Winning at home weekly/fortnightly/tri-weekly/monthly/bi-monthly* in 'The Qualifiers' goes a long way to deliver you into the top four... * (delete as applicable as per the fixture list)

Phil The Ace
Have BV signed a promoter yet? If not, what's the delay? A promoter has been assigned with someone with more experience shadowing him. Someone who as been in the game a long time
