Mattfordfan
How many of you expect Zagar to be back if running in 2017? Or do you expect a top 2 of Cook and Fricke? If BV run then I would expect the team to be built around C. Cook, M. Fricke, R. Worrall & S. Worrall.

Fourentee
If BV run then I would expect the team to be built around C. Cook, M. Fricke, R. Worrall & S. Worrall. That would seem a reasonable assumption and form a solid base on which to build a team; potential improvement in all four. To a certain extent (and do hear me out on this one), building a title-winning side isn't really the issue for the Aces this season. It's all about getting a competitive seven, erasing the uncertainty and worries from the previous campaign (as noted in your phrase 'If BV run') and hopefully taking the initial steps towards establishing a viable, long-term presence at the NSS. Good luck and I hope it goes well.
SPEEDY69
In the weaker league they will do ok but Fricke was hopeless away from Belle Vue, which he'll need to improve if they are to get anywhere.
WestGorton1884
Max Fricke is definitely one for the future , but he missed a lot of meetings last year , and his away form was poor . personally I'd prefer Zagar , if the Aces can afford him , which seems unlikely
Mattfordfan
Not using Jack Smith in this 1-7 as 3 British Leagues will be too much. Gone with Rob Shuttleworth at No.7 because he was a Colt this season and next year he will be at Workington with Craig Cook 1. Max Fricke 9.922. Rory Schlein 7.173. Richie Worrall 8.494. Steve Worrall 8.475. Craig Cook 9.836. Dan Bewley 3.907. Rob Shuttleworth 2.00 49.78

However I'd like to see Berge given a go, imo he'd be a handful for anyone round the NSS, away who knows, would be interesting to find out. Little Thumper
Has Belle Vue signed a promoter for 2017 yet? Hey, watch it! Mr Flange will pitch up in a minute and give you a verbal lashing for expressing negative thoughts. Anyways up, they must have a promoter because they were represented at the recent National Leaguership Conflab, so perhaps they are just being a little coy and the promoter will be revealed to the plebs once 2017 arrives. Little Thumper
Lol! No. The one the bspa wanted was considered to be an idiot by the council. The one the council preferred (they would have preferred to sort the mess out with the business partners they originally chose but Mr prompt and decisive put paid to that) is too close to the old promotion for the bspa, hence the unprecedented apparent requirement that the new promotion has to pay off the old promotions debts. Fred, thank you for your apparently well-informed insight. So who was representing Belle Vue at the recent NL promoters meeting, when it was announced that they would run a joint team with Coventry? Little Thumper
Mr prompt and decisive thought he was a shoe-in to be running Belle Vue, hence the stupid idea to run a joint NL team with Coventry. So, someone was making decisions about Belle Vue's future when they were in no position to do so as they weren't actually the promoter. Again, forgive my negativity, but this is standing up about as well as a custard lighthouse. Surely, somebody must have something a little more concrete than all this wing and a prayer stuff? Little Thumper
sounds like more rumours and made up stories. That's right. And I think it's time that they gave the Belle Vue supporters and supporters of speedway in general something a little more concrete. It's no good just coming up with a statement saying that Belle Vue will definitely run when they don't seem to have a promoter. So yes, hyderd, we need more facts and less bull from the British Speedway Propaganda Association.
SteveLyric2
Not sure why people expect 'news' over this holiday period?? Its highly likely that if further negotiations are still ongoing that not all the participants are available to continue until the new year!! Just to add to the rumour mill - I heard that ex-BSPA Vice Chair Jon Cook might be overseeing the new promotion which might still include Mr Carswell?! But maybe that's who FF was alluding to?!

Well, that is interesting. I see that Mr Carswell is still listed as an active director of BVA Holdings Ltd and BV Arena Ltd but then so is Chris Morton, So perhaps, the duo are going to re-brand themselves and have another stab. I'll pop round to Mort's house and see if the Rentruck car is still parked on his drive. Watch out for a pick the new Belle Vue logo competition any time soon.
