?

Need to swap tungate out for a sub 7 pointer.

Thought it might be , but i mainly used the averages printed on this forum ? ,

Which averages on the forum did you use? As at least some are wrong!

Cook and fricke are both around 10, Worrall and Hougaard around 8.5, tungate around 9, Bewley 4 and Smith 2 (I think)

Cook 10.31

S.Worrall 8.33

Fricke 9.91

Hougaard 8.70

Tungate 8.47.

45.72

In reply to BurntFaceMan, would you agree that you can reduce the quality of individual riders, but end up with the quality of racing improving.

Sure, most people would like to see big names, but they come at a cost and at this time British speedway cannot afford the cost. I look forward to how the new proposals pan out, if they improve quality of racing overall then it would produce excitement and attract, hopefully, a bigger crowd maybe with a fresher younger audience if promoted well..

As a suggestion, it would be nice to see the worlds best come to the uk to compete in individual meetings, say 4 times during the summer months riding at a track in the North, East, West, South say Glasgow, Belle Vue, Kings Lynn, Poole. That should get crowds in, as many top guys as possible, get 10 and 6 top riders from new Premeirship (these could change track to track to generate "local" interest). I am sure some speedway fans would do a "tour" to take in all 4 meetings.

So we don't get one in the midlands?

Have a feeling BV will sign Josh Grajczonek, along with Cooke, S Worrall & Hougaard as their top 4.

Paddy won't be at belle vue.

But good shout about josh. Only lives t mins from stadium. Never thought about him

So the averages printed on BSF are wrong ?

If it is the converted averages that I did then, they are a converted averages of all EL riders from last year. They were calculated using the averages on the BSPA website at the time, there has been a more recent release by the BSPA, so they could be slightly out. However, if a rider rode the PL last year than that is the average used for team building.

Sub total is not far out but Official averages are

Cook 9.83

S.Worrall 8.47

Fricke 9.92

Hougaard 8.70

Tungate 9.03

= 45.95

Still too high as we need to get Dan Bewley at all costs into our team.
