Belle Vue 2017

Without doubt Starman is a genius. I bet nobody else has the same insight and intelligence and assumed Phil must be the new promoter and we were getting it straight from the horses mouth.

I said he's just guessing. Really no need for your sarcastic remark. But then that comes with the territory oop north.. :nono:

As long as the team has the potential to reach the play offs that will do me.

We should be loyal where possible to those riders that rode last year under extremely difficult conditions

surly the main prioritie is you get a new promotion in place because without that you needn't bother about team strength or even a team .

Just having a team to watch good or crap will do me

I agree and I'll be there whoever we sign, the racing should still be good. However, if we are going to survive we must have a side which is competitive and capable of at least winning most home meetings. Otherwise, crowd numbers will soon fall.

Agree with loyalty to riders from last year where possible and it is important to have a competitive team.

Will be

Fricke

Cook

Worrall

Worrall

Bewley

Jack smith

Leaving about 7.3 for last rider. So 1 of schlein (I think) batch Auty Toft Douglas howarth for last placeWould be happy with that team

Would be happy with that team bar Richie.Would love for him to be in the team but i think Hougaard would be a better choice both assets if that still applys no loan fees etc. With Hougaard in this league the team would have 3 heatleaders with Richie the team would have 3 2nd strings and they both fit(with Toft,Auty,Berge,L Bjere).I know its all guess work But just looking at this team i think we would have more success with Hougaard in the team and a winning team brings in the crowds and thats what the club needs to keep going.

Did those promoters whose licence has been annulled lose their financial bond? Does the financial bond still exist as a commitment to setting up in a speedway business? Why are promoters who fail badly, leaving debts etc allowed to re-enter the sport again as promoters?

Surely they will have lost the bind and it should have gone towards paying any outstanding debts to riders?

Main difference I've noticed is that Andy at 17 was exciting to watch, but occasionally had my heart in my mouth at times that he was gonna hit the fence some time v soon. Not a criticism by the way, Andy was one of my first Aces heroes!

With Jack, seems more in control at same age. He's quick, brave as a lion & happy out in the deep dirt on the outside.

Would love to see Jack in BV colours once the club's issues are (hopefully) resolved.

More than occasionally heart in mouth I'd say! Not sure I've seen a more exciting young rider than Andy, couldn't gate but would certainly give it a good go blasting round the outside at Hyde rd. Still remember him as a 17 year old passing Mike lee on the last lap, in a season where lee was in superb form.

Sounds like Jack would be similarly exciting to watch at the NSS.

I'd like to hope you belle vue fans would keep hold of Joe Jacobs. As he rode awesome in his home meetings and was very entertaining. My prediction for belle vue 2017

1. M.Fricke 9.92

2. J.Jacobs 5.36

3. R.Worrall 8.49

4. S.Worrall 8.49

5. C.Cook 9.83

6. M.Williamson 3.67

7. Draft rider 2.00

Although It wouldn't surprise me if you guys might have Patrick Hougarrd 8.70 in your side.

Quite correct. Not sure where the 7.17 comes from?? Possibly getting fingers in the wrong order?! :D

Could be that but I am sure somebody posted those three digits in that order.

I had no idea Jack Smith was son of Andy as had not seen it listed anywhere.

Suprised at no announcements yet for the Aces although obviously I can understand the ongoing promotional issues.
