The White Knight
I did. And again I agree. What Leigh did for Swindon, and how much of a machine he was for them even in his last season was immense. He and Crump were something else at league level. The fact that with Crump and Adams we always used to say at Coventry getting a 3-3 out of heats with them guys was a good result says it all. I remember getting a 4-2 over him at Blunsdon in heat 15 of the 2007 play-off final and seeing at as a huge win because you worried if he hated with his team mate it was a 5-1 you were not stopping. I'll always have that 1st and 2nd bend by Nicholls to let Harris get away for the 4-2 down as one the best 1st/2nd bends I've ever seen, just because it was against Adams! Hate - is a very strong word. Do you not mean he just didn't like him very much?

Ghostwalker
Just battered and bruised by all accounts thankfully That is not entirely correct. He suffered a heavy concussion so he should be a out for a while. No way he should be riding for the nearest 2-3 weeks if Mikael Teurnberg's words are true. Obviously Fricke will but he shouldn't play with fire. Edited August 1, 2017 by Ghostwalker
Aces51
Translation of part of a report from ROW Rybnik. "I was in contact with Mark Courtney, who told me after midnight that the injury was serious enough to mean the end of the season for Max," said Krzysztof Mrozek, President of ROW Rybnik and added: - Today, after further tests, Max has fractured 5 and 6 cervical vertebrae, which means he has a minimum of five - six weeks of takeoff. If the report is correct then it looks as if we might possibly have to go with rider replacement to the end of the season although hopefully, Max will recover sooner. Aces51
Update now from Belle Vue. MAX FRICKE UPDATE | Following a crash in Sweden last night, the official news is that Max has two fractures in his neck which will heal on their own with a little rest time - he's one lucky boy! He's spoken with Mark Lemon extensively today and is heading to Gerona to seek specialist advise and receive treatment immediately on the injury. Fingers crossed for a speedy return. I'm sure all Belle Vue fans will wish him all the best in his recovery. It goes without saying, he will sadly be line-up. We'll keep you updated on his progress. Get well soon Max.
acef
Should look at scenarios like these with common sense. Holder fits. It's a genuine injury, dispensation should be allowed in genuine injury cases Edited August 2, 2017 by acef
Steve Shovlar
Very unfortunate for Fricke and Belle Vue to come after the cut off date. R/R only option for the rest of the season or until Fricke recovers enough to ride. There is no facility other than R/R, though the way the team are riding he can be covered pretty well. No 28 day injury replacements are allowed at this stage of the season. Edited August 2, 2017 by Steve Shovlar
foreverblue
Should look at scenarios like these with common sense. Holder fits. acef
Down the years certain club's have cheated and manipulated rules. That's why this ruling was introduced. You now have a genuine case which is detrimental to a club and because selfishness in years gone by, other clubs are suffering. I include Swindon here. It's wrong. Chris Holder fits, who has just been shat on, and needs a club. This should be a 2 second phone call and deal done. But the BSPA will never agree to it. Chris Holder fits, who has just been shat on, and needs a club. This should be a 2 second phone call and deal done. But the BSPA will never agree to it. The rules were made to stop clubs bringing in big guns who weren't willing to ride all season long, but happy to ride for the play offs. In that case common sense should mean that the transfer window is for riders who have not yet rode in England this season and shouldn't include riders that have already participated. Holder should be able to fill in for Fricke, but instead you're going to go into the play offs with 6 men. What a show!

Whatever man. It's just names. My point is clear. Last year a certain club brought in a certain rider by the name of lindback Faked an injury to a certain other person to make it happen. It's bollox. Now a genuine injury and club's have to suffer It's clear as day Fricke has a genuine injury The BSPA need to use common sense here. Yet more r/r!!!
