Col
With the sad news from Brandon. Surely King, K Bjerre & Bates are a shoe in at the NSS. Bewley still fits, with 4.89 to spare. Harsh on R Worrall & Jacobs I admit.
Panthers89
Wouldn't say surely a shoe in to any of those 3. King I'd say has more chance but all depends on Fricke. Will the Aces have priority King if they sign him? As now a Lynn asset? And signed for Coventry before signing for ippo?

Will the Aces have priority King if they sign him? As now a Lynn asset? And signed for Coventry before signing for ippo? No - this was clarified when the fixtures were released.Ipswich granted priority as Coventry situation was as it was and not confirmed at that stage (and unfortunately didnt get sorted) Danny had no top league contract even then. Priority in 2017 has also been altered Asset Returning to same team - whichever league League of asset On that basis Ipswich would have priority over Belle Vue even if Danny had signed for Belle Vue in November Edited March 1, 2017 by dontforgetthefueltapsbruv

He didn't sign for Coventry first although the Bees announced him as a rider first. Wouldn't normally have mattered anyway as the top flight would have been given priority whether he'd signed for Ipswich first or not but as Bruv says, the circumstances this year changed that Ipswich will also have priority over Rory Schlein if he gets himself a Premiership ride. Hamish McRaker
With Lemo involved I would say Fricke is a nailed on certainty. Why? Is he Lemon's son?

hyderd
Why? Is he Lemon's son? No but he is a Belle Vue asset, current world U21 champ, current Aussie U21 champ. The word Aussie is a good clue also.

acef
Fricke is in. His van is outside the stadium with his name on. That is a rather large give away. Sedgman is also in. I'm 99% on that. Clear links to lemon. So basically it leaves one slot to fill which will go to bjerre. He is uk based so will most likely accept. No space for King with Fricke now in. I'll stick my hat on the following bring the team: Fricke Sedgman Worrall Bjerre Cook Bewley Smith That is a play off team in my opinion.

King for Bjerre certainly a play offs team i am not so sure with Bjerre in it an attractive team nonetheless.

I'd have to double check the math but I'm pretty certain swapping king for bjerre would take us over the limit. It was either Fricke or King. Bjerre is uk based so will fit within the budget. He's also one of 5 riders I'd have gone all out for in terms of average improvement. King would miss 8 away meetings. His experience would be vital and on that basis I'm glad he isn't in. Ipswich have priority Question marks on the road at reserve but at home that's a very good unit. 2nd half of the season the reserves will be better for the experience so we can hopefully add some points on the road. WestGorton1884
1/ Fricke 2/ Sedgeman 3/ Worrall 4/ Wozniak 5/ Cook 6/ Bewley 7/ Smith Between Bjerrre or Wozniak? I'd go for the young pole personally, He'd fly round the NSS

Certainly if King misses those meetings a definite no go.Fricke is the key for me if he shows his European form he could be a number 1 i have always rated the lad.The two young reserves stick with them hopefully it is not to soon but i am sure at home they will cope away a learning year for them Edited March 1, 2017 by Sidney the robin

He's also got previous for being dictated to by his Polish club. Missed a number of meetings for Leicester. Bjerre I believe lives in the UK so wouldn't be as expensive. Bjerre is just a logical, affordable choice. With an average he will increase.

acef
I'd be happy with either, tbh I'm absolutely chuffed that we will have managed to put together such a competetive team given that we have a winter of uncertainty and barely a month to scratch a team up. It is a terrible shame what has happened at Coventry, but we have been aided slightly by the events their. Certainly if Bjerre joins us. We are also working in the constraints of a budget so again, to deliver such a competetive team is a terrific achievement.
g13webb
Kenneth Bjerre has his faults, and there are some supporters who are vocal in their dislike of him. But to me KB would be a hellova choice at Belle Vue. His machinery is second to non and as fast as any others around, His greatest asset is his gating, When in front he is usually very smooth and untroubled..... Riding on the vast spaces at the NSS he would be in his element. If there was a track tailor made for KB then this would be it. The only time you see KB struggle is when he is in close company of other riders who he doesn't trust....... When considering his injury history, you can't blame him for that.... I would welcome KB in any team I support......

Talented, he may be, to some people watching riders like Garrity is exciting speedway, you never know what's going to happen next. I can't warm to somebody, whom I feel is a accident waiting to happen. He always appears to ride above himself with little or no respect to his fellow riders.
