Aces51
I'm in two minds about signing King albeit I like him as a rider and have liked Belle Vue's preference for British riders. Assuming Fricke wants to come back then I would prefer him because he is an asset, a better rider and a better prospect. Alternatively, signing King in addition to Fricke, as a third heatleader, gives us a strong top 4 but a potentially weak bottom end. Against that, Bewley and Smith have tremendous potential so may improve over the season to become a good reserve pairing. Another factor is that it was reported in the Australian press that we had signed Sedgman. Thankfully, it is Mark Lemon who has to decide and after the winter we've had I shall be pleased to support whoever we sign.

I agree with most of this except for the bit I've put in bold - having watched Fricke a few times last year away from home, he was dreadful and it didn't indicate to me he is a better rider. Both would be good - maybe other teams will revise their teams to make use of some of the Coventry riders?
ouch
I personally wouldn't use D King over R Worrall,as for Kerr i'm fairly confident J Sedgeman on 7.60 is nailed on for a team place In the EL last year Richie averaged 5.82 whilst riding at reserve against NL riders. In the EL last year Danny averaged 7.22 whilst riding at heat leader against GP riders.

Phil The Ace
Personally I don't think we will have any Coventry riders. If we do we will only have 1 of any of the riders fit. I'm pretty certain 6 riders are already signed up leaving 1 unknown So Fricke 9.92 Cook 9.83 Stevie 8.47 Sedgman 7.60 Bewley 3.90 Smith 2 Leaves 8.28 so if we was to nick a Coventry riders it would be Bjerre

You're right that his away form could have been better but he is not yet 21 and improving all of the time. He showed his quality by the way he adapted and performed last year in Poland and Sweden and I am confident he will be a better rider here this coming season. King can also be inconsistent and is unlikely to improve. Personally I don't think we will have any Coventry riders. If we do we will only have 1 of any of the riders fit. That top four looks powerful and two mega promising young uns at reserve who i believe will be fine at home. Away could be a learning process for both young lads but for me it is just great that the supporters still have a great team to support. Phil The Ace
I really like Wozniak and he is one of them who rides for the clubs fans in everyone of his races. He would be very entertaining. Bjerre though is UK based and has the experience to pass onto the young ones. On a track like belle vue he would be brilliant on his average as a 2nd string aswell may I had. (Well for the 1st month or so anyway) So for me if the 6 riders are already signed bjerre is a must. Them that do t rate bjerre who would u rather have MPT Thomas jorgensen Berge Schlein Wozniak ????????????????

Aces51
Has he changed his mind about giving the UK a miss in 2017? I've not seen anything to suggest he has. Personally, I wouldn't sign a Pole because no matter how committed they may be they are at the beck and call of their Polish club and I wouldn't as a matter of principle after their ruling to restrict how many other leagues riders who sign for their top league can ride in.
