racers and royals
Tai wanted to ride in the British Final last year...the daft dates prevented him from doing that. Even this season the Polish and Swedish finals are away from any GP'S. Seems the people who run the sport in this country dont do anything to help the better riders. Even this season the first semi final was a day after the GP and the final 4 days before GP practice So when do you suggest the final is run- bearing in mind Woffinden rides Tuesday`s in Sweden from early May and Sunday`s in Poland from Mid-April plus has GP`S - anyone would think that running it on a Monday when there was a GP practice in Denmark on the following Friday was the biggest mistake British speedway could make !!!!!!! racers and royals
Not much discussion about tomorrow yet. Sweden clear favourites to make home advantage count-Evens with bet 365. However I`m not so sure they should be a short as they are ! Latvia are the outsiders but are no mugs and are sure to be competitive. That leaves Denmark and Russia who both have bundles of talent- but will they show it on the night ? 5.45pm BT sport 1 is the place to catch the action live. Can see AJ and Sundstrom struggling and sometimes Lindback is either brilliant or poor. If Bjerre and Iversen can score the around the same as Lindgren and Lindback then i feel Madsen and MJJ will outscore AJ and Sundstrom. Should be close

Steve Shovlar
Lets be honest here Woffinden has lost a huge chunk of his support with his current stance. It seems he can't handle people fed up with his attitude and telling him so, reading about the outburst he made on twitter last night. Fans got to him at Belle Vue last year and a few twitterers told him what many think just yesterday. Seems he still thinks everyone thinks the sun shines out of his arse. Got news for you Tai, many don't. Be interesting to see if he does the autograph signing session at the British GP, which will no doubt leave him wide open to some disgruntled British fans voicing their opinion of him directly to his face. The apologists will try to defend his stance, but in truth he is acting appallingly. There is no I in team.

Wiseguy
Why no Artem Laguta for Russia? They never seem to pick their 3 best riders, which is a shame as they would be a real danger imo

Did you read the twitter comments??? No you quite clearly didn't. There were a lot of comments from lots of people probably over 100 easily who were behind Tai. 2 keyboard warriors thought it would be cool to have a dig at his wife and unborn child and you think that he should have ignored them!!! Do the maths over 100 people on Tai's side and 2 people having a pop. Multiply that at Cardiff and the people that don't like Tai won't even be heard. Tai reacted on Twitter over nothing to do with speedway. When you don't know the facts best to keep your big trap shut. Blimey you made so many faux pas recently it's embarrassing for you!!! We know you don't like Tai you mention it in every post but yet you are quick to tell people to stop going on about KK on the Poole threads! Total hypocrite

We know you don't like Tai you mention it in every post but yet you are quick to tell people to stop going on about KK on the Poole threads! Total hypocriteI don't like Tai? Wrong again. I don't like his attitude towards anything British, true. I am angry at the way he treats speedway in this country with distain. I think he thinks he has more support than he has from British fans. If you think he has only lost 2% of the support from British fans you are totally deluded. I don't like or dislike him. He could improve his standing by riding in the league that gave him the break and if he thinks he is the best British rider why not prove it by riding in the British Final? Why not show he is the best by representing Britain in the SWC? You can lead the way of the apologists but many have had a gut full of his me me me attitude and will not be cheering him on in Cardiff. Craig Cook will get a far bigger reception, and deservedly so. But you can't debate anyway so this post will probably be lost on you. Edited July 3, 2017 by Steve Shovlar
Trees
Give it a few more years, not many, and the flack given to TW could well also be given to Cookie, Lambert and any other up and coming who makes it big in the UK and clears off to where the money is ie riding Poland/Sweden/Denmark. I doubt it somehow .....
orion
Pretty easy to gage what UK speedway fans think of Tai these by what is put here ..its more or less 50 - 50 these days of course because people will cheer at Cardiff like they would do any Brit but that is no gage . I wish the debate would end tai for his own reasons has chosen not to ride for team gb or go in the UK final etc etc so we should respect that but by the same token we need get on with the people who want to ride and forget him no matter if we do get beat . Yep! When I first them I thought that looks really manky. Clearly someone there thought the same and got a brush on them pretty quickly! Woz01
I will still cheer for Tai in the GP even though I disagree with certain decisions he's made. To be honest he is making it more harder to do that. Not much discussion about tomorrow yet. Sweden clear favourites to make home advantage count-Evens with bet 365.
