Terry
Poland could drop their gp stars and go with; Hampel, Protasiewicz, Pr Pawlicki and Kolodziej and still more than likely win. There's a scary thought
New Science
I think Australia will declare and go home early. Our only chance is the others can't see for tears of laughter. It's obvious whether you like him or not Woffinden's only problem seems to be with Rossiter, and now it appears most of the GB supporters feel the same way. Woffinden has such an issue with Rossiter that he declares himself available to ride in the World Games
waytogo28
Like other managers in other teams sports Rosco will live or die by his decisions, especially this one not naming Lambert at No5 where the majority of us believe he should be. If he gets it right and Team GB get through to the Final Rosco will be proved to have made the right call. Get it wrong, or even worse get it spectacularly wrong and there will be only one road left open to Rossiter and that will either resignation or if his ego wont let him be sacked. Is there anyone to replace Rossiter with even if he was sacked? Who wants the job? If Rider / Managers are permitted the best option would be to give Woffinden the job - if he wants it. If Britain finish fourth at King's Lynn, does that mean they'd have to pre-qualify next year? If they finish fourth at King's Lynn it would be better not to to enter next year. Grachan
Can a reserve take a tac sub or joker ride? If not there's a possible 6 extra points from Lambert by having him in the side.
Welwyn
Apparently the reserve can only take as many rides as one of the main riders. Meaning Lambert could only take 5 rides and not 1 in the first 4 heats. Still disagree with the decision, but makes more sense now.

racers and royals
Apparently the reserve can only take as many rides as one of the main riders. Meaning Lambert could only take 5 rides and not 1 in the first 4 heats. Still disagree with the decision, but makes more sense now. What are you on about- reserve could ride in heats 1,2,3 and 4 if the team manager was a nutcase. from the FIM regs FMN’s shall nominate their complete Team (Including host FMN), with each Rider’s starting number on the official SWC Team declaration form, no later than 7 days before the first Event 1 of the SWC Final Tournament. The names and composition of the declared teams will remain confidential and must not be disclosed by the FMN or their representatives to the media or any other party until announced by FIM or the SWC Promoter FMN’s may nominate a U21 Rider who is the same nationality as FMN. This rider will be allocated starting number 5, allowed to practice and will be a Reserve, permitted to take the place of a rider 1-4 at any time during the meeting. The nomination and use of an U21 Rider is not compulsory. The U21 reserve will be entitled to be used in a maximum of 5 heats (Including heats 17-20) plus one additional heat as a Tactical Substitute or Tactical Joker. If replacing the injured Rider in the rerun of a heat, the U21 Rider will also assume the status of the replaced Rider (ie. programmed ride, Tactical Joker or Tactical Substitute). The Team composition and the Rider’s starting numbers for each event shall be the same 4 or 5 riders that were entered on the SWC team declaration form, No changes to any declared Teams or starting numbers will be permitted throughout the SWC except in the case of injury or illness, supported by a Medical Certificate where necessary, and approved by the International Jury. Where the International Jury approves such changes, the replacement Rider will occupy the original Rider’s place in the nominated Team. The International Jury will issue a list, including the Team compositions and the draw colour, as soon as possible after the completion of the previous event. (See Art. 078.3.5) I posted this way back- to stop some people`s confusion here it is again. SCB
Have checked the rules. Reserve can also take a tac sub/joker. Which is a massive gain. If you drop 6 points behind and Lambert is already out, you would be mad to use a joker on him as that means he only gets 5 rides. To make the most of tactics you have to use the joker on a tac sub ride. Now as the reserve doesn't have any rides of their own, giving a joker rider is ALWAYS a tac sub ride too. Just another of the gains for having a good reserve that we now won't benefit from, yay!
happyvalleywoolerman
So if Lambert and/or Doyle find themselves unfit for Saturday before meeting, replacements can be parachuted into their place with Jury's permission and it isn't a case of reserve moving up, and who do we think these would be? King or Nicholls for GB, Sam Masters or Brady K for Oz?
RobMcCaffery
Do they still have Stuart Hall and Eddie Waring presiding over the SWC jokers or is jail and death getting in the way? Used to love Jeux Sans Frontieres - a proper use of Eurovision rather than that song contest. Obviously BSI and the FIM are out to capture that once highly profitable demographic Edited June 28, 2017 by Rob McCaffery
Guest GiveusaB
I wonder how the powers that be came up with the idea of 'JOKER' ??? Team GB already played their joker...... by naming Rossiter as manager!
False dawn
King or Nicholls for GB.... I do believe that Scotty still has no desire to ride for Team GB. If the right Danny King turns up, he could be a real asset.
Bagpuss
Got to be King, next best option by some distance.
Guest GiveusaB
It has to be whoever can ride Kings Lynn the best......I guess? Somebody who can gate ? hence why Harris will struggle?
