A ORLOV
2. Agreed. Hosts shouldn't be seeded. Current champs should so we (Poles) should be seeded anyway. If they are seeded it should only be to the playoff, not the final
chun
Crickey this is getting boring. I'd have thought the Aussies would have put up more of a fight. Mistake to stick with Morris and not draft up the in form Kurtz?
ShrewsburyWolf
What is the Czech manager doing ? Milik as joker in 16 surely?

Panthers89
What a crap track Lynn really is. Who gives a toss that the tracks smooth and fast, brilliant, no outside passing at all, all on the inside. Only passes have been mistakes by others.
screm
Cook looks the real deal tonight, and hopefully a SGP rider next season. Great move on Holder. What on earth was Milan Spinka thinking there, utter lunacy.
TheReturn
3. Reason why no one watches British speedway? Borefest of gating and filling programme. Well compared to Poland, British speedway is no longer that entertaining. But Kings Lynn is a good race track, the problem is that tonight is a two horse race because of the farce of seeding hosts. full-throttle
Crickey this is getting boring. I'd have thought the Aussies would have put up more of a fight. Mistake to stick with Morris and not draft up the in form Kurtz? The Aussies will make the play-offs with just 3 riders, so all is irrelevant really. Great display by Team GB, although I doubt we will be seeing the same results next weekend
PHILIPRISING
ONE of those nights when it is probably far more enjoyable actually being there rather than watching on TV.

THE DEAN MACHINE
Once the manager picks a team then its set. Doyle pulled out after team picked so the manager has to work with what he has. Stops the trick Hancock did last year when he rode in this equivalent meeting, qualified cause of his points for the Friday last chance, and pulled out. Big moan on hear (and elsewhere) about him pulling out - you must remember that. So rules changed. but why we're either not picked ahead of Morris ? BritPete
Great ride from cookie. He gets past Holder, then stuffs him! If only Rosco had put his team out in the right order! LOL!
Halifaxtiger
ONE of those nights when it is probably far more enjoyable actually being there rather than watching on TV. Lets hope so. Even if two teams are far better than the others, there could still have been some racing.
WalterPlinge
Jokers are ridiculous and shouldn't be in this competition. GB riding brilliantly, but the final will be hell of a lot tougher. Racing not great due to USA and Czechs being way out of their depth. No idea why Pearson is getting so animated banging on about Czechs making a mistake playing joker in race with Cook and Holder. The Czechs were never going to beat a Aus or GB rider if we raced until christmas. Czechs just had to play joker in a race where they beat USA - which they did. USA got the joker wrong playing it against Harris and Batchelor....They should have played it against Fricke, the only rider in the top 2 that they could conceivably have a chance of beating

NOT much racing maybe but Cook didn't do it all from the gate
Guest
What sort of spectator attendance - a 'guesstimate' will do - is likely to be at this meeting? 3128 The quoted possible WTC match attendance at King's Lynn puts speedway very much on a par with Women's Test cricket. But I suspect it's a joke response to my query. Edited July 1, 2017 by Guest
screm
NOT much racing maybe but Cook didn't do it all from the gate Surely its all about qualification and Team GB have done that.
nw42
Well done lads, you can only beat what's put in front of you and they've done that with room to spare, well done indeed...
