racers and royals
Does anyone know when does Manager Rossiter has to name his squad and then the final team. ? We'll see how good he is as a manager this year as he'll be working without Woffy. He enjoyed the plaudits for Silver in 2016 but realistically only one rider did the business for GB in the final. A success for the 2017 team would be to reach the final. from the FIM regs FMN’s shall nominate their complete Team (Including host FMN), with each Rider’s starting number on the official SWC Team declaration form, no later than 7 days before the first Event 1 of the SWC Final Tournament. The names and composition of the declared teams will remain confidential and must not be disclosed by the FMN or their representatives to the media or any other party until announced by FIM or the SWC Promoter FMN’s may nominate a U21 Rider who is the same nationality as FMN. This rider will be allocated starting number 5, allowed to practice and will be a Reserve, permitted to take the place of a rider 1-4 at any time during the meeting. The nomination and use of an U21 Rider is not compulsory. The U21 reserve will be entitled to be used in a maximum of 5 heats (Including heats 17-20) plus one additional heat as a Tactical Substitute or Tactical Joker. If replacing the injured Rider in the rerun of a heat, the U21 Rider will also assume the status of the replaced Rider (ie. programmed ride, Tactical Joker or Tactical Substitute). The Team composition and the Rider’s starting numbers for each event shall be the same 4 or 5 riders that were entered on the SWC team declaration form, No changes to any declared Teams or starting numbers will be permitted throughout the SWC except in the case of injury or illness, supported by a Medical Certificate where necessary, and approved by the International Jury. Where the International Jury approves such changes, the replacement Rider will occupy the original Rider’s place in the nominated Team. The International Jury will issue a list, including the Team compositions and the draw colour, as soon as possible after the completion of the previous event. CookieIpswich
I might bet my entire months wage on poland winning the world cup
Terry
I might bet my entire months wage on poland winning the world cup I was thinking of doing the same. I'm actually surprised they're as big as 2/5. Although I did have a stupidly large bet on them at a similar price a couple of years ago and Hampel got injured in his first ride and they lost to Sweden, so there's always a risk. At least teams can bring in reserves now, and the Polish U-21's are pretty decent too!
ouch
Not far off now. Is it worth buying in advance as there has been a lot of odd call offs at the Norfolk arena lately. What's the start time as Busters meetings tend to drag on over many hours? Will the gage fence be in place or will it be taken down to give a better view, drives me mad trying to watch through that? Some Lynn fans have mentioned about the dirt used being for stock cars and that it's no good for speedway. I'm guessing a race track will be laid a la Cardiff to provide some racing? Will our team be Cook (Workington) King (Ipswich) Worrall (Newcastle) Worrall or Lawson (Glasgow) Lambert (Newcastle) or will Nicholls & Harris get a look in? waiheke1
Poland obviously massive favourites. But a real shame that tai isn't representing the Brits as with him there is not a lot between Aussie Denmark Sweden gb and Russia, though I'd have Aussie a shade ahead of the rest. As it stands GB have no chance of making the final. Cook and lambert must be nailed on but then who? Harris I'd include but no idea about the next two. The worralls? Gavan
Im sure Team GB will be Cook, Lambert, King, Steve Worrall.................unless someone has a stonking British Final If the reserve is an Under 21 then it will go to Josh Bates or Dan Bewley Edited June 11, 2017 by Gavan
lynnboy
Lambert will be at reserve
racers and royals
Lambert will be at reserveAnd Harris will be in the team. Its worth remembering that the same 5 picked have to do Lynn and the playoff and or final. Edited June 11, 2017 by racers and royals
Gavan
Lambert will be at reserve Why would we have Lambert in reserve? He is the second best brit he needs to be in the team
waiheke1
Why would we have Lambert in reserve? He is the second best brit he needs to be in the team Because as reserve he can still have five rides. And used where the manager sees fit. And it means we could have King/Worrall in the team rather than bewley/bates.

Daniel Smith
Using Lambert as reserve is madness. You have to go with the strongest 1-4 possible. Can't see the 4 being anything but Harris Cook Lambert Worrall S
Bagpuss
Madness to not have Harris in having scored a 15 max the other week. Just depends on whether you feel it's an advantage to have Lambert at reserve with Worral in or put him in the team with Ellis or Bates at reserve. Can see the sense in both. Last year the rule was different, this year its as waihekeaces1 says, so I too would have Lambert as reserve and use him beneficially. SCB
Anything over than Lambert in reserve would be utter madness. How anyone can even think to do anything different amazes me. It's Jason Garrity/Gary Havelock logic that cost Coventry last season FFS.
