New era Panthers
I'd be surprised if the Rebels gain a 10 point lead at the OTA against the current Witches 1 to 7 particularly if Danyon is back fit and well. EDIT: But shows what I know, Sheffield have just knocked out Newcastle and I had them down as strapped on Finalists... My dear departed father used to have saying which I find appropriate ( never judge the chocolates by the picture on the box)
Reviresco
My dear departed father used to have saying which I find appropriate ( never judge the chocolates by the picture on the box) Indeed, a very wise saying, especially if you have a nut allergy. Did your dear departed father like the movie Forest Gump .... Life is just a box of chocolates, lol? EDIT: Just thought (whirr click), IF Ipswich & Sheffield make the Final, that's two Thursday night tracks.... Reviresco
MACCA Heat 14 87 -87, Heat15 ,5-1 to N'castle =92-88. Pardon? By the looks of it, Sheffield think they have progressed to the Semi Finals at the expense of the Diamonds... http://sheffieldspeedway.co/news.php?extend.2186

mickthemuppet
Banger world final on Saturday.. so no speedway this week Looking up the cost of admission for the Banger Final on Saturday and it is £35.00 plus £2.00 for parking.on the day Do people seriously pay this amount of money
Baldyman
There won't be a single inch of space left. It's normally a total sell out I think. If banger racing is your thing then I doubt it's any different to a speedway fan going to Cardiff.
DW
Don't think the other semi will be finished until 16/10 so riding the second leg on the 13th isn't going to delay things much(unless it's raining of course!)
Gazc
Does the guest rule stay for the whole play off? Eg if Sheffield go out cab Bates then guest for BWD or still barred? Needs to be guest from teams out-with the play off teams so Bates would not be allowed to guest for BWD.

2ndbend
Can anyone confirm the rules about who Somerset can use as guests at 6 and 7. Is it riders who are in the teams in the play-offs that they can't use or riders who have ridden in the play-offs?
Buttons
Actually it's pretty unusual for us to get the second leg of any cup or playoff competition, I just hope we can keep it close enough to make it to the second leg with a realistic chance of overturning any deficit. We had some pretty poor home and away performances from some riders against the Rebels earlier in the season but the team is much different now and it could well be quite close over the two legs. I certainly wouldn't expect them to turn us over at Foxhall again anyway. Here's hoping for a great semi final with the best team with Witches on their race jackets coming out on top! How do they work out who gets what leg?

Is it riders who are in the teams in the play-offs that they can't use or riders who have ridden in the play-offs? I think it's any of the six teams who qualified for the play-offs. Rob Branford looks, by far, the best guest option for Rebels. All the best Rob
