TheScotsman
I like Mitchell. Yes he's been around a while but he's not exactly old. And he has suffered horrendous injuries through his career. I think he was averaging in the high 8's in the NL last season after being away for a couple of years or more and I think he even got a maximum late in the season. So compared to a lot of the juniors now in lineups for next season he can probably do ok. And Cleggy is a young lad. Probably has learnt from his decision about missing the last match. And the club are happy to have him back. And how would you feel if he had signed elsewhere and started knocking in double figures? He's scored well on most NL tracks so the ability is there. Just needs a bit more self belief I think.
DC2
Can't see why you'd complain about Max. In his last six matches at home his scores ranged from 6 to 14+3!!! You've got to win your home matches so even if he's weak away he's good value on 4.34.
Triple.H.
Lawson maybe third in the Glasgow averages but at least he has finished a season with an average over 9, Has Masters managed this yet?Masters is a racerDickie's a gater

It seems a common trait to pour cold water on the progress of many Brits whilst placing similar ability foreigners on a pedestal.... 😞
DC2
Mark got some good scores too though towards the end of the season. Both are good value, esp at home.

Both have similar experience levels and currently Clegg has actually performed better albeit it marginally.
TheScotsman
Not really similar experience Taps. Cleggy rode a huge number of matches last season across 3 leagues and had a full doubling up season the year before. Mark had only ridden a limited number of times before he came across, as had his little bruv the year before. I am delighted to have both of them back and expect big things from them, especially in the Play-off Final!! I think some folks are probably a little frustrated that Cleggy has so much talent but often seems to struggle to believe it when he goes to away matches. And Mark even picked up a couple of heat 15 gigs at the end of the season.
stewmac
I like Mitchell. So do I, but liking someone is no reason to sign them, nor to imagine they might be able to suddenly score points after many years of failing to do so. And Cleggy is a young lad. I imagine the fans of Berwick and Glasgow are quaking in their boots at the thought of Clegg returning to burn up their shale in 2017. Not. He was hopelessly out his depth in the majority of away matches last year, so the idea that he'd sign for someone else and suddenly start knocking in double figure scores is a little far-fetched. Can't speak for our Berwick counterparts but we are petrified at the thought off Clegg demolishing our top heavy team and making a mockery off the track record. On the other hand.
