TheScotsman
Hope Mitchell has a good injury-free season for a change. The lad deserves it.
screm
Interesting that Davey's name is being mentioned again, and as the British number seven at that too. Good to see young/inexperienced British riders getting a chance again. If Davey does come in on a 2pt average it will make a mockery of the system, up and coming, young British rider he ain`t.
GWC
Why are the Germans knackered not enough brutwurst? Lots of other jokes available but politically incorrect in today's world.....

Particularly as he has a PL figure from 2013. He first rode over here in 2008 (on an assessed average as an Australian) and hasn't made the grade nine seasons later, no way should he be taking a number seven slot next year. No issue with Edinburgh using him by any means but it shouldn't be as their mandatory British reserve.

Ironically it appears he hasn't actually ridden a full season since he was the only ever present rider in the Glasgow team of 2009, seems to have had quite a lot of fairly serious injuries since. Think with all the doubling up going on due to rider shortages, fans would be glad to see any rider sticking at a sport we all love. TheScotsman
Count the months/years the lad has missed through injury. Look at the pics of his injuries. I would rather he packed it in while he's still in one piece but mega respect that he still has the guts and desire to keep on in the sport. And he's willing to take a reserve berth in the far flung northern empire that is Armadiddle. Too many others aren't so willing.
tyretrax
Does he not stay in Glasgow?. That's not far from Armadale as any Monarchs fan can tell you.

TheScotsman
Yes he is local. But too many are not willing to make the trip. And he seems a nice guy.

speed ace
Any speculation on the rest of the team? It looks like Masters and probably the Riss brothers, with possibly Davey at reserve, so who else is in the frame? Can Cookie be fitted in(given uncertainties at bv)? Will the promotion go for a new untried rider(normally they come up with good ones)? Will they give Jye another go on a 4 pt average in this weaker league? Will Max Clegg come back, when he was in the mood, was a strong home reserve.

After comments from the Edinburgh promotion that Etheridge was the worst reserve in the league, would the rider want to go back. Also, not so sure about uncertainties over Belle Vue, they have giving their intention to run in the Premiership next season, all be it under a new promotion. The Edinburgh promotion/sponsors are good at publicly slagging there riders.
