Looks like Mr Flange has gone on a holiday though, that's something!

just another alias gone on a well earned holiday. Plenty more lurking in the wings.

Flange and Stevebrum have made up again now. Steve gave Fred some Groupon vouchers for a weekend break at Hotel Dignitas.

That has to be post of the year!

my moneys on belle vue the way they totally demolished lakeside they have a chance carnt see pk . thorsell or the reserves doin much . and zagar worrall. nichols cook will all score big its goin to be close

Nicholls score big round BV and Thorsell not do much? I don't think so.

Not saying BV are completely out of it because they're not but comparing a Lakeside team without AJ to Wolves as an away outfit is a bit pointless really.

My money went on Wolves and see no reason to have a saver on Belle Vue, 18 points is about double what Belle vue are capable of pulling back.

You don't think putting Zagar on the worst gate for his tactical ride was a mistake! Madness should have waited to see how things were panning out and use him in a easier race. I konw you topped the league but it's the play offs that he really has to show his mettle.

Easy for you to say after the meeting. What if he hadn't done it and not got the chance again, zagar is our number 1 who had won heat one looking really fast, absolutely the right time to do it.

It's over unless we can get a few early 5-1s

Wolves are just the better side

Ace's need to keep it tight until heat 10, then 5-1 Wolves 3 times in the following 3 heats. Hence no TR.

Will be heading to Manchester about 15:30, parking and then getting food. Any suggestions appreciated.

I don't think you can play any games at all with regards to worrying about any Tac rides.

In both home legs for Wolves I've heard fans worried early in the meeting that we're getting too far ahead and Poole/Vue would be able to use a tac. My theory is, that's perfect. The earlier you get a tac out of the way the better. It only means you're in total control of the meeting.

I wouldn't suggest Belle Vue don't take heat advantages if they have them half way down the back straight on lap 1, Woffinden & Lindgren rode very smart Monday, they didn't go all out trying to win heats when they had a heat advantage or a 3-3 in bag, after Belle Vue's disastrous heats 3 & 4. Ace's need to do the same Wednesday, if they can start with 3 5-1's take it just don't ride stupid trying to get a 5-1 when you have a 4-2.

Wolves will find it tough tomorrow and I can see the aces winning on aggregate by 6.

The worrals will be key both with double figures. Pk will have a mare along with clegg and howarth.

Loking forward to going tonight. The Aces need to keep focus if they are to have any chance. As has been said, take 4-2s if they present themselves and chip away at the lead. If we can get to six points down after heat 10 or so, anything can happen.

If Belle Vue do pull this off it will make for dramatic tele but I cant see it as surely Wolves wont be as bad at the NSS as Belle Vue were at Monmore the other night. The Aces need to hit Wolves hard in the first half of the meeting a claw back the majority of the points, do that and survive the tactical ride and its game on, but I think Wolves have in Lindgren, Woffinden and Masters the riders to get the job done, and a team manager with the know how to get the best out of his team.
