topaz325
So the Comets complete their PL fixtures with this meeting against the Redcar Bears, if the Comets win by enough it will see them go up to seventh in the League. Hopefully it will be a dry Saturday night and a good turn out of fans.
gregory peck
Although this meeting has the appeal of a double glazing convention, it's important we see a decent turnout, and it will go a long way to whether the supporters still want speedway in Workington

Halifaxtiger
I think it has more than that. The last two meetings (Glasgow & Ipswich) I have seen at Workington have been very good indeed so I am coming for this one, too.

Steve Irving
I'll be coming to this one too. My last chance to see Redcar until we visit Ipswich next season as I'm moving down south in a few weeks. Seeing less of Redcar might not actually be a bad thing mind! geoff 100
no one for ht 15 as riders had left the pits and were getting changed those in the pits didnt want to do it!
Fromafar
The way some Teams are treating these end of season matches is disgraceful riders can't be bothered etc .The other point is I thought you could get fined for fielding an understrenghted team as has been happening lately. StevePark
Fantastic professionalism then! FFS. Sod the fans. Redcar should be heavily fined. Thanks for the answers guys.
Comet Dan
Havvy's explanation of Heat 15 was that Jorgensen wouldn't do it as he'd hurt his arm, Andersen had blown an engine as had Busch. The reserves weren't eligible. Bit of a farce really.
