Poole 2017

Yes, please!

Little bit weak at reserve but at least the top 5 has been strengthened.

Yes, please!

Oh, hang on, it doesn't fit! Lol

It does. B. Kurtz comes in as a straight swap for R. Worrall. Doesn't matter about the average difference it was a 28 day injury agreement.

We can re-declare our team twice. Once tonight with the 2 new signings and then re-declare again when Kurtz is fit.

1. Andersen

2. J. Holder

3. Kennett

4. Gomolski

5. B. Kurtz

6. Davey

7. Shanes

How can a team that started with Kurtz and Klindt be this bad? This season I bet more more than 10 riders have increased starting averages, Poole have two of them! Throw in Shanes small increase and Holder doing ok, why has it gone so wrong for Poole?

Genuine question, as it all seems so odd to me. On paper this Poole team was/is bloody great.

"Team" is the key word, maybe they aren't. Look what Rosco has done with a "team" that looked like a one man band at the start of the season.

So we're saying Middlo doesn't have the Midas touch? That can't be true, starman says he does. Weird.

BTW, it's what I thought too. IT's almost as if when things start to go wrong Middlo doesn't know how to fix things. Unlike, as you say, Rosco, who has done it at Coventry and Swindon a few times now.

Not aimed just at Poole but a quick scout through the Polish, Swedish Danish leagues, reckon a few of these would be available

Tried not to include any GP riders but left Lindback in as he rode before

Also, Swedish league doesn't have to long to go, maybe could tempt riders at teams with not a lot of chance of making the play offs

This is a fairly long list and obviously some are not even viable options

The toys have been thrown...

After years of success and a few late season signings the wheels have suddenly come off and the KK signing just didn't work.

I think just looking at the league apart from one or 2 riders there isn't anybody that comes close to what Matt and Poole have been used to in Hancock, Magic, Ward, Holder and even lindback. The piece that has come out that the team is useless is a great confidence booster, who would want to come and ride over here, Poole have no loyalty just look at Holder, Watt and Newman, so why should and would anybody of any note they maybe looking at want to join this team?

Why Lahti was at number 5 I will never know, a bad signing but can't be Fords fault now can it.

No matter who they sign I think Poole will not make the play-off final even if they scrape through into the top 4.

It's not always about how you win..... !!

Timo Lahti has been a let down, came in seemingly on good form, now terrible form only scored 1 in Sweden Tuesday and isn't anywhere near what we need. Jack Holder has taken a dip in form too and now Hans goes backwards when needed. No idea how we can turn it around. Could get Nicolai Busk Jacobsen who has just signed for Berwick for Lahti. No idea what else we could do.
