So when Steve0 mentioned the comment by Adams dad, why did you have a go at him? He was just pointing out the comment about loyalty which you then professed to also want...

All down to figures mate, nothing to do with the fans.

The definition of competition is winning at all costs you pleb. If you're not in it to win it then go home. Stop being a baby.

Ha.....The very reason why a lot of fans like to see Poole struggle .

I would say ray c is right.A proper fan....

Surely Richie Worrall is a better option than Edward Kennett?

Having slept on the EK replacing KK announcement.....

I still think EK is a poor signing for the (less than) mighty Pirates and they better hope KL don't get themselves sorted because they are there for the taking. Still a very strange move - and to think certain Poole fans laughed at the Swindon team at the start of the season - who have now beaten them twice at home. Karma is a b*gger.

Awkward one this.

Richie is easily the better option but is still already a 28 day replacement himself !

(ignore what brum thinks gater1 said, he made it up)

I made up his away form was dreadful? ?

still lying?

Adam was stuck with a high average (bit like Richie) and Swindon took the risk and it's worked a bit. Not forgetting first half of the season Swindon fans wanted him sacked! So much so Rosco had to defend his decision to keep him, in the press. So Rosco might show some loyalty, but Swindon fans don't! :D

Holder was stuck with one too.But Lynn had him

Doyle at Swindon

Guess it depends on each promoter if they think they are worth that average! As Skidder has said previously, it is a numbers game. Matt tends to go for riders he thinks will up their average by at least a point/ 1.5 points. Chris Holder and Adam Ellis wouldn't have fallen into that category unfortunately.

Seems Matt f***** messed up.He brings riders in and discardes them as he sees fit. It's why fans don't like Poole

And that attitude is why the sport is in the gutter. If other promoters had acted like Matt Ford 10 years ago our league wouldn't be the international joke it is now. Congratulations, you've contributed to the demise of British Speedway.

People are laughing at Matt Ford and Poole but I can see some method to this madness.

Yes, Kennett for KK looks hilarious but you should really only look at the numbers.

Kurtz is returning so clearly will come back for Worrall, no brainer.

EK's & KK's away averages are similar but EK will now get easier rides as a 2nd string so will improve that.

At home EK has only got to be a 6+ man and he's better than KK.

Poole are doing ok away from home, at home they've struggled and that's where EK does add some strength in depth over a failing KK.

The funny side to this is that some Poole fans were going on about waiting to see the great #1 rider that Poole were going to get to replace KK. Lots of big names banded about and then they go and sign EK. Of course EK should do better than KK on the from that he was in but he hardly looks like any major strengthening ahead of the playoffs. The risk is that Poole might not even make the playoffs and, if they do, they will be cannon fodder.

It's not funny at all. The days of big riders bothering with England are long gone. There is no longer any career furthering benefit to riding in the United Kingdom. The only benefit of riding in the United Kingdom is the money, and that is rapidly drying up.

This isn't just an issue affecting Poole. I honestly doubt 2018 will see a single GP rider in the UK.

Just to be clear Eddie Kennett is not coming in as a 2nd string. He will come in as 3rd heat leader and going by what he has said himself will start at number 3 in the riding order. Hans will go to 1 until Brady returns on August 10th unless in that time Hans gets a higher average?!

The interesting thing for me is who will ride at number 5? Richie, Jack or Timo?
