poolebolton
Are there many "small" tracks in the GP's Cardiff, Warsaw, Melbourne. And whoever said assets don't matter they really do. Want to know why Poole get such good riders and we pay them lots of money. Yes, we get biggest crowd and have the biggest sponsors but we generate a lot of asset fees. I bet King's Lynn are paying a nice fee to Matt. It might only be 3k but thats a lot of money over a season. Think how much KK has generated. He is also good at selling rider Hans for 60k they bringing him back for free years later. Did a Juventus Pogba special. Only Kilndt is not an asset. He brings over aussies as well and you bet he will have some more lined up with Darcy as chief scout. And developing bonds with Riders such as Vaculik and Dudek which if they ever do race here they most likely race for Poole. Vaculik will race for Poole one day. He has always been the one we can't get but wants to race for us. You either race for BV or Poole let's be honest. When we do re-develop the stadium then its a no brainer. Pirate Baz
Well if you believe some on facebook, Vaculik will never ride regularly in the UK because he has a phobia of flying!!? How's he getting to the GP's ? By road ? Melbourne could be a problem.

A ORLOV
When will the stadium have a make over i think it may be a while away yet we shall see Looking at the progress of work from Stadia UK elsewhere and past actions by them you might be waiting a very long time.
poole keith
flats in the stadium car park will be worth a few quid, so it might not be such a long wait for them!!
A ORLOV
flats in the stadium car park will be worth a few quid, so it might not be such a long wait for them!! But where would the speedway fans park ?.
DunRobin
flats in the stadium car park will be worth a few quid, so it might not be such a long wait for them!! There's plenty of houses around the Abbey Stadium now but that hasn't speeded up the building of the new stadium. A lame snail would be quicker than Stadia's UK's building progress, me thinks! DunRobin
i think thats my point robin Misunderstood you, I thought you were referring to the upgrade work. It's possible that sea level increase might affect the Poole Stadium before Stadium UK put any money into re-furbishment! I believe their pockets are deeper than Willy Carson's & he has never been known to take any money out of his pocket but he's quite willing to put money in! poolebolton
What is this!!! We have actually done something 21st century as a club with an online ticket service. This is a good step forward. Actually embracing technology for once.

SteveLyric2
But where would the speedway fans park ?. The plan for flats published by Poole Council shows an identified area close to the main Wimborne Road currently occupied by a derelict office block. It extends into the part of the lorry park to the left of the main service approach road and car park entrance. The rest of the car park area will only be affected if the footprint of the actual stadium is altered. There is currently no existing plan to do this. The only suggested plan for the stadium was floated by local developer Eddie Mitchell 3 years ago when he was trying to get Poole Town FC back into the stadium - THIS IS NOT HAPPENING EITHER. As for parking, the school next to the stadium is regularly used for additional parking.
