John Scrutton
Would agree with you but the way I see it is you cannot change your team once it is declared (up to a certain date) Thats why Flicke took Doyles place and no reserve. Also if Jason is ok on fri he can return for the play off, if another rider was bought in he could not return.

A ORLOV
I thought they could change it for semi final so could bring in Kurtz for Morris Not 100% sure but the non change and no reserve was commented on to keep the option of Jason for the playoff, now that comment may have been wrong. Maybe someone who knows the rules can clarify an injury situation. It does seem a bit daft if riders cannot be changed providing they are in the original squad of 10. He looked pretty average (no actually worse than average) for someone who had ridden KL many times before.

Where the International Jury approves such changes, the replacement Rider will occupy the original Rider’s place in the nominated Team. foreverblue
So if they brought in someone for Doyle they couldnt then bring Doyle back for the semi final and if they wanted to drop Morris they would have to prove he was injured. Was average, but still the only rider to beat cook Worse than average -- and why would Cook bust a gut when his team had already qualified for the final? Gino Manzares looked a better rider than Milik! Edited July 2, 2017 by Steve0
SteveLyric2
Not sure what machinery Milik was using at Kings Lynn as he did really well in Torun the evening before in the SEC Euros, but its all academic anyway unless one of his leagues fixtures finish before July 31st. His name keeps cropping up because MF admitted he was one of the targets for the start of the season prior to the Polish Extraleague introducing their new rules, and 'may be available later in the season'? - as was Vaculik. No secret it was all reported at the time. Edited July 2, 2017 by Skidder1
