hes also wrong that the only top star in the league is holder......what about doyle ,,, also theres lindgren , kk and hans andersen

SteveLyric2
Although prompting some debate on the Poole forum, as someone has mentioned, what I also don't understand is what is the relevance of the article in the local paper?  Lets hope it doesn't deter too many more people from supporting - including possible sponsors!!  Incidentally it seems Poole's admission charges are staying the same as in 2016. At least they are not increasing to £18 like some.... Edited February 17, 2017 by Skidder1

scottyfan
Just had something pop into my head, what ever happened to Marcus Andersson the chap that came over from Sweden with Zetterstrom to ride for Poole? From what I can find he last rode over here for Edinburgh in 2001 and rode in Sweden until 2005? I would imagine he is long retired now as he is 42 years old (born 10.07.1974).

BurntFaceMan
yes by around 2 points  Doyle is relatively untested in that he may simply of had a very good season. Chris is the most out and out talented rider in the league without a doubt.
Gemini
Incidentally it seems Poole's admission charges are staying the same as in 2016. At least they are not increasing to £18 like some.... Which tracks have increased admission charges? Leicester have dropped their price by £1. Not sure about Coventry as they haven't released anything yet.

Rye House and Wolverhampton £18 and all others £16 or £17, however Wolverhampton concessions are £13 (big differential) while Rye House are £16 with all others £14. SteveLyric2
One of the reasons there is no 'standardised' pricing policy is because every club has a different cost/revenue base as well as having very different connurbations, catchment areas and demographics!! Steve0
Jason Doyle could have had a "Leicester City" type season last year..... Except he has been improving year on year for several years now - so not a one-season wonder like Leicester City
