foreverblue
if Poole had used guests as they should have then they would have had a decent guest instead of RR hindsight I guess is a wonderful. A lesson learned if Poole or any team think of turning to Lindback to help in future seasons. Conveniently forgot when Shov made that Ill thought out comment. That is true, maybe considering who we were likely to face in the semi final we should have got Kylmo.
Guest GiveusaB
Come on you aces !!!! I'm backing a slender 4/6 point win tonight !
stevebrum
That is true, maybe considering who we were likely to face in the semi final we should have got Kylmo. He couldn't guest because he wasn't in a declared 1-7 tho. Could have signed him instead however! Way more reliable!
Aces51
Can you be sure about this? How can anyone be sure about anything. All of this speculation is based on rumours and I have seen nothing factual at all to substantiate any of them. The rumours seem to originate from the south coast. What I have seen is a team giving 100%, getting us to the top of the league and taking obvious delight in what they have achieved. That doesn't seem to fit in with riders concerned about being paid. A Poole supporter claiming we couldn't afford the team signed this year seems ridiculous considering it is virtually the same team as last year when we were at the dog track.

Your right there! Anyway back to tonight as Freddie and P.K are two favourites of mine and for the Poole connection Howarth is still, i think, with Middlo's daughter. Come on you Wolves.

I should imagine the cost of running the team at the dog track is a fraction of what it has been this season. The truth is the bv fans have not come out in enough numbers this season and we are going to see changes at BV during the winter. A new stadium and its over half empty every time bv race. This is not the thread for this discussion. I am sure it will be discussed in depth over the following weeks and months. Good luck to both teams tonight. Garry1603
I think if BV can hold it to six points tonight, they can pull it back on Wednesday. I actually think they might sneak it tonight though 44-

Another way of looking at it is a stadium that is nearly half full every meeting and a fair few well over that is twice as many fans as they got at the dog track.Plus car parking and food outlets etc.

Matt slags the riders, Middlo close to tears, showing his true colours when the camera isn't on him. Bad winners, worse losers. No wonder Holder wants out. SUPERACE
Can you be sure about this? More sure than most of the rumors yes. Trust me Belle vue will be running next season.
Steve Shovlar
I have given nothing but praise for the bv team and stadium. No sour grapes here. As I said this is not the thread but if people want to bury their heads in the sand with fingers in their ears going la la la that's up to them. Steve i think is correct in that changes could happen and seem to have some substance, but this is again still only a rumore. One thing i can tell you is the rent at the new stadium is LESS than the dog track, it was well know that the rent belle vue paid at the old stadium was the highest in the league by far. Id say its far more financially viable run at the new stadium. Crowd's actually havent been that bad this season certainly higher than the dog track, and bigger than most other teams this season in the elite league. The issues the promotion have had are all down the season opening fiasco, without that there would be no problems. Either way i can tell you the future for speedway in Manchester is bright. Have heard that legal action was taken as regards to said fiasco with the council being involved and the outcome would involve compensation to the club for monies lost, don't know the truth in this but it would appear to be the right course of action. damosuzuki
Going to be good - added bonus of Pete Adams interviews which are usually entertaining. I think it might be a slightly wider gap. 50-40.
