SCB
After seeing Fricke at Lakeside the other week and tonight at Wolves, I'm thinking he needs to move to a smaller track next year. Maybe he's just been riding on the bigger tracks too much this year. Well done Wolves, far, far, far superior on the night. Disappointing match after last week's drama. Shame we can't have Poole on the TV every week.... Yeah, riding those big tracks is holding him back. Imagine how good he'd be when it mattered if he rode a small track. He's just won the World Under 21 title ffs!!
SteveZodiac
Why does he need to wave that Monster bottle in front of cameras when he has same logo on his head. Numpty! Because they are paying him a lot of money to do so.
Perton Wolf
Its not as if Woofinden banged in 13 or 14 either was it? The NSS will certainly suit him much better, we need to be 110% up for it weds, have the speed and the determination. Fricke and Jacobs will certainly score far more at home, Zagar we can all but hope. Even though i think we,re doomed Captain Mannering if they can put 54 past us down there why cant we do likewise up here? NSS is not as big of a home advantage as Monmore for starts. Not to mention a lot of our riders like the track. I'll be surprised if Woffinden is beaten by an opposing rider on Wednesday.
jimmy jimmy
Wolves just rode better than we did, congrats to them, we just need to man up and throw everything we can at them on Wednesday. No excuses, no moaning, wolves are a strong team and bringing Tai back made the difference, brought another 10% out of the other riders as some of the pressure is off with him as a second string I am pleased that we kept faith with the same side, loyalty will bring its reward, and developing the British boys is a pleasure to watch. Endeavour
Great it is a "weird " or "trick" track when the team we support takes a bit of a pasting. No mention when BV won there in league. Wolverhampton is what I would call a technical track and as Ivan Mauger said if they turn left speedway tracks are there to be ridden. As ex Edinburgh riders Cookie and Stevie were good tonight on the smaller track and the bottom line so should former Monarch Max have been. Lemon should have had Cookie as the tactical rider from the favoured gate. The guy can pass at Monmore Green
speedibee
Second leg is a bit of an anticlimax now , with no home track advantage I think Belle Vue have left themselves too big a mountain to climb ..
ABS
No hiding place tonight - even BBC News N/W showed the result and a clip of Heat 15.
Perton Wolf
No it won't. Belle Vue were the best team by far, a clear 5 points over a 28 match season. It is unjust, unfair and inappropriate if Belle Vue don't go into the record books as League Winners because of one bad night at a weird track in the West Midlands. You will all tell me that's the rules, but I don't accept it. Wolves would've finished top of the league if not for Joonaa scoring 0, it's all could's and should's. crumpiefan
Congrats to Wolves on a great first leg. You can't win a 7 man game when you barely have 2 riders getting near their potential. Far too many point scoring positions lost. All to do now Belle Vue

crumpiefan
We did at Lakeside - reality check tonight We were awful tonight, last year in the final we also started terribly but nicked a draw at Kirky Lane.....being there tonight was deja vu but even worse. Can't see us doing 18.....worst thing for me is only Cook and to a lesser degree Steve showed any guts. Can't get the hang if these finals can we? Ace no.5
In a final you have to give it 100% in all 30 heats. Not even close to that tonight. Can also sometimes cope with carrying 1 rider but not 3. All to do.
waiheke1
Aces could pull back 8 in the two reserve heats. 10 more still a lot to pull back, especially when u consider wolves would likely get at least a couple from a tac ride if trailing. A point a heat then pretty much, going to be very very tough. Will need aces to have a great night and wolves be poor. Still an outside chance. Very disappointing though. B.V 72
With Wolves being the first team ever to pull back a 12 point first leg defeat in the play offs how hard will it be to pull back 18 seeing how well Woffy and Freddie ride our track and a tac ride if needed. If by some miracle we do it i will be the greatest night i will have ever spent at the speedway so of course i will be there to cheer them on as i have all season with still a slight hope in my heart that we can do it. But i have to be honest if my mood does not change i think i will be driving to Belle vue on Wednesday with the same feeling i have in my stomach when i drive to the dentist.
Garry1603
Very poor, but I'll go there on Wednesay with belief. As has been said before, it could be ne of the greatest night's ever, Unlikely, but it COULD be. Up the Aces!
bri1966
Fat lady is warming up her voice can't see anything but a wolves victory but strange things can happen in speedway like Sheffield knocking Newcastle out of the playoffs
SUPERACE
Well firstly congratulations to Wolves on a deserved win and almost certainly the Elite league title. What an absolutely shocking performance from the Aces who were out gated, out passed, out fought and out ridden. Its not as if we had any bad luck or poor decisions, wolves thoroughly deserved the 18 point win. I honestly cant see anyway back for the Aces now. cyclone
I'll never agree with any rider that says they've gone to a small track to develop because it develops nothing when the ambition should be to race in the top leagues in Poland, Sweden and international individual racing. Did Woffinden no harm riding on the small tracks of Rye House & Wolverhampton, and then becoming a top rider in Swedish & Polish leagues and winning the SGP
