Crazy robin
Great to see that Hans is back riding in Poland for Lodz today☺. Hope the injured hand that was supposed to keep him out for the season is ok.
stevebrum
And 5 points deducted from Poole for getting a facility for a rider that isn't long term injured.
Bees_Man
I see Pedersen has supposingly hurt his knee today too! No one saw that coming a week ago? !!! How long can this sort of cheating continue? So what is it that Ford has over all the other members of the BSPA which allows this to go on year after year without nothing being done!

MrwulfAndrew
What a joke. Sometimes Poole are clever but other times they just outright take the p. This is one of those times. Might aswell get rid of every single rule in the rule book.
Vincent Vega
I expect to see Andersen in the Poole team tomorrow night then. If they try and use Lindback the referee should stop him riding in the meeting and Poole have to go with a 6 man team.
Crazy robin
Pointless topic You really think it's pointless as that is why things are allowed to go on & fans walk away from the sport. You are either out for the season or not surely??

Perhaps yours and other promoters should of grew some balls and stood up to Poole when they had the chance.
SteveLyric2
So Andersen got injured on the August BH Monday - a day after the deadline for any team changes and has not ridden in the EL or anywhere else under the BSPA control since then - that's one whole month!! Therefore Poole had to use guests for the remaining 5 EL meetings prior to the play-offs. They were given permission within the rules for play-off teams to sign a replacement for Andersen on a reassessed average below 7.15 - no rule broken!! Neither Hans nor Poole have broken any rule as Hans' 'long term' injury has meant that his EL season is finished and he has not ridden again in the EL . Having had the stitches removed from his hand on Friday in Poland, the specialist advised that if his hand felt strong enough to grip the handlebars then he could try to race again, which he did today in Poland, where he had his treatment. Scoring 3 points from 4 races and not being considered for his final nominated race, in the Polish 2nd division play-offs. He has subsequently admitted that he has come back far too soon and needs more rest to strengthen his hand. Personally, I'd say that a long term injury in these circumstances would be one where there was no chance of you riding anywhere again this season. Not one that might or might not stop you riding and is also dependent on what country you are riding in.

Morally you know it is wrong,Andersen riding again has changed everything to be honest also getting Lindback in on a 7 point average is laughable to be honest.Lindback might not score well again but surely these rules have to be looked at Ford is no genius just very clever at manipulating the rules.

WestGorton1884
Surely even Poole fans must be embarrassed at this ?, Lindback is now a replacement for a rider who isnt injured . Poole may well carry on their domination of the Elte league , but at what cost to the sport in general ? , its becoming a joke sport

Doctors may of told him he was out for the season but he gave it a go yesterday but Would he of been fit to ride today as he maybe feeling a lot of discomfort and wished he hadn't rode, been there done that one coming back to early. There speaks someone who's never raced while injured. Tried to give it a go a few times myself and not been able to see it through.
