Hunters
It is a very rude expression in American! Is that serious or are you sending me up. Many years working for an American Fortune 500 company and going there four times a year and I never heard of that? Surely they have spoken of ' ******* victory from the jaws of defeat'
Islander15
Why the Kent management agree to this date knowing that Ayres is missing, is beyond me.
cityrebel
Especially as it's not even Eastbourne's regular race night.
Alex2000
Tom could be in for a hat full tomorrow, never heard of their reserve so will be surprised if he does much. I shall be surprised if we lose this as they are weakened in the areas where we are strongest.

I can't mention what this particular slang word means in a public forum, but let's just say that, being a man, I don't have one ...
Sings4Speedway
Sadly it looks like Kent are going out with a whimper rather than a fight? Hopwood is a decent guest but not a match winner like Danny. Clifton has had a disappointing season in my opinion and not being able to keep Thomas in a reserve berth has sunk the Kings season. As for Eastie they have the right to use & name whoever they like at reserve however Harris was fit enough to ride 2 classes at a grasstrack last weekend so cannot be suffering too badly! Alex2000
Maybe Harris is busy as it's an off race night isn't it? I think Harris would be better than Powell as soon as he is still carrying an injury and a crash could worsen it.
Sings4Speedway
Quite possibly or his Dad cannot get the time away from work? I rate Harris over Powell anyway in terms of riding ability and nothing to do with his hilarious attempts to lay on the track and get and all 4 back
greyhoundp
Having seen both Kent and Eastbourne at Monmore recently, Eastbourne are currently the strongest Team, and there is the likelihood of both finals being between Brum and Eastbourne.. who will win it all hinges on how tight the Eaglets can keep it up at Perry Barr, sorry Kent but Eastie will win through. I rate Harris over Powell anyway in terms of riding ability and nothing to do with his hilarious attempts to lay on the track and get and all 4 back Harris is a more solid rider then Powell... don't know if you've ever had it but watching Powell going into the corner I hold my breath wondering if he'll come out the other side

Alex2000
Powell looked fit enough to me when winning the 500 final on the grass at frittenden last Sunday. still has a broken collar bone though.... apparently he can ride but still has pain

cityrebel
A routine home win for the eagles tonight in front of a very good crowd. Too many passengers for the Kings to have any chance of causing an upset.
ruckerroo
Good job from eagles. Â Kents season went downhill the meeting thomas moved into the top 5. Â As since april the title and trophys are at the mercy of brums superstar reserves
woofers
Routine home win, good job etc etc but disappointing in terms of a spectacle. Considering that this was the 2nd leg of the play off semi final with the scores close, I have to say the event lacked thrills or excitement. Â The racing was generally processional and the number of passes could be counted on one hand.

stevec
Kent had little chance in 2nd leg,but without Ayres - NO chance. I think this just shows what a joke doubling up is. Ayres rides in a MEANINGLESS meeting for Glasgow? Joke. Â Â I see the Glasgow match didnt take place as the flood lights failed. So while Kent were being trounced by Eastbourne, Danny Ayres was twiddling his thumbs. Even more frustrating for him, Kent Management, Kent fans and any other fans. Shame really as he may well have added a be of a spark last night even if not changing the result much.

Ended up a complete joke that he did NOT ride at all.
