TheScotsman
Winning trophies............ 2016 - Premier Shield 2015 - KO Cup 2014 - Premier Shield / Fours 2013 - Premier League / KO Cup / Pairs 2012 - League Cup Those are from a quick glance at the BSPA Rolls of Honour. Maybe they are wrong? And in that time - Glasgow = nothing recorded. Obviously I am talking about recent years not the fifties etc.

Your original post did not differentiate timeframe, it merely said winning trophies. The biggest trophy is the League and in regard to that trophy Glasgow have won it 3 times to the Rebels once ever. On the second biggest trophy, the KO Cup, Rebels are 3 to Glasgow's 2. So, on the two biggest trophies Glasgow are 5 to Rebels 4. The rest of the trophies are not so much secondary as tertiary, after firstly the League and secondly KO Cup. No wonder everybody detests the smugness of Edinburgh's stoopid supporters and their stoopid comments.

TheScotsman
Looks like it's going well for the weegies today. Probably a "congrats on a good result" coming up. Rebs maybe gone off the boil a bit? Certainly never thought of Tungate as a number 1.

Reviresco
ooppss , better be quiet then . was going to post workington finest hours , but i couldnt find any .. Love it J. Always rely on you to bring forth a chuckle. Can I suggest 1976, Inter League Cup, beating the consequently Double (and Pairs) winning Witches, and then Kings Lynn. Not a bad effort, especially against a full strength Witches side who, from memory, had to at least employ one TS if not more.
damosuzuki
Bit of a fiasco with all the carnage today. Two horrible looking crashes for Bach and Garcia. Fortunately Worral, Lawson and Summers escaped unscathed. However, other than Grazj we look to have the measure of Somerset - at least at home. Although being in the 70's it'll be denounced by the resident blockhead, he can't remember as far back as 2011 so what chance has he got Edited October 2, 2016 by justere2cgoodspeedway
MD
Somerset tried to do as much damage as possible today! Absolutely shocking They put themselves about thats for sure. Starke caused the accident in ht14 by running into Ayres when he had been left behind. Campton guaranteed to guest for BWD next week.
Gazc
Don't know where to start after that probably the poorest meeting this season and Glasgow never really troubled today although finishing with 5 riders meant the scoreline was closer than it probably would have been. Hope Rene & Coty aren't as bad as appeared but Rene took a sore one after Starke ran into the side off Ayres who in turn completely wiped out Rene. Tungate never completed a race today now i can't comment on any issues he had behind the scene but surely Garry May will be having a word as he looked totally dis-interested today and pulled up twice after he was outfought on the first bend. Surely the Rebel fan's and they were a few deserved better than what there No 1 gave them today. Somerset were poor apart from Josh & Wright the rest only picked up points when the home team had either injured themselfs or rode as Danny did whilst injured to be fair Campton didn't look to bad either but it is looking like Somerset again next week, I can't wait .

Gazc
Tungate hurt his shoulder in heat 1. That explains a lot but if that is the case why go through the motions only to pull up after a lap or less ,he would have been as well staying in the pits if that was the case as he clearly was off no use on the track. At least putting Hogwood out he would have completed the race and the way our riders were dropping like flies at points during the meeting he would have picked up at least some points.
RHayes
Try to ride it out I suppose. Better to give it at least a go, not that it made much difference. The damage was done 9 days ago. Edited October 2, 2016 by RH92
