You realise that team would have about a 60 point average in the PL which is about 13 points higher than Somerset let alone the 22 points higher than Plymouth.
SPD444
Reserves could be the difference maker again tonight. Joe and Ritchie ride well around the NSS, particularly Joe. Interesting to see how Lambert copes with being No. 1. Hope he does well, not too well I hope.
Aces51
Lambert is certainly a better choice at the NSS than Bomber. He's ridden well on previous visits and I'm sure will get a decent score tonight. It's a shame AJ is riding in Sweden, a popular visitor to Belle Vue. SPD444
Yes, I like AJ. Will not forget the job he did for us last year when Matej was injured and couldn't ride in the play-offs. Top man.
TonyE
I don't know what other teams forums are like but the Lakeside one has become depressing, probably one or two comments of support for tonight and that's pushing it. I don't believe there is any less passion for the club but more of a frustration with the circumstances we now find ourselves in. Being realistic and expecting a thrashing doesn't mean you have stopped your support. Unfortunately, coupled with all the foregoing, we have a promotion which has not been fully candid in communicating with the fanbase nor living up to promises made at the beginning of the season. E I Addio
One of the things about any sport is that the closer you get to victory the harder the competition gets. Sometimes it takes a bit of backbone to go out and do your best when circumstances conspire against you and your best laid plans unravel. Sometimes you just have to take it on the chin , as Lakeside will probably have to tonight. Unfortunately, Lakeside, like most other clubs have a vocal minority that have obviously never done any serious sport in their lives, probably never even run for a bus, some of them and don't realise how bloody difficult and soul destroying it can be at times. You just have to breathe in breathe out and move on to next year, trying again and ignore the damn silly comments that people make, e.g. Joe Beevors stupid comment above, about them not being good enough to beat Plymouth . Lakeside are only going through what Leicester, Coventry , Kings Lynn, and eventually Swindon have already had to deal with. Having said that, the communication from the management has not exactly been all it could be this year. I thought Cookie said at the Fans forum in Feb that Nigel Pearson's company had taken all that side of things over. If they have they haven't exactly made a roaring success of it. I agree with that but it's been pretty much doom and gloom all season long, if it's not Cook getting stick it's Tatum. The way some go on its like Lakeside were this massive speedway club club winning trophy after trophy before Cook and Douglas took over. To be fair, there are only about 3 or 4 that are chronic complainers, it's just that they seem to want to put their spoke in to every thread. Half the time their complaints are because they don't understand the rules properly or because we don't turn the clock back 30 years. Pretty much the same as the BSF in that respect.
Vincent Vega
They should have just awarded Belle Vue the tie after the first leg. This meeting is completely pointless. Would be amazed if any Hammers fans are there tonight.
scaramanga
He was a big letdown in the World Cup. he has something but ive never seen him produce a performance that backs up all the hype about him seen him about 5 times in total so i might have seen his worst meetings but sorry i was left feeling let down by how people sung his praises They should have just awarded Belle Vue the tie after the first leg. This meeting is completely pointless. Would be amazed if any Hammers fans are there tonight. there isnt such a thing as a pointless meeting maybe not much to aim for but it should still be entertainment if not they shouldnt charge to get in

screm
Will SKy cover both meetings like last week? All 30 heats? Or Wolves - Poole + only highlights from BV? Pearson announced the other night that the wolves meeting will be live with regular updates from Belle Vue, I would imagine it will be something like the Woffinden debut for Wolves the other week.
