Wolverhampton V Poole: El Play-off Semi-final 2nd Leg

Recommended Posts

He will be as it's not in the plan to have the Draft B rider replaced with a rider of lower form - especially one that has been good enough to hold his own in the 1-5 for a lot of the year (ahead of the Draft A rider).

Nice to see you make light of an injured rider

I get the heats 2 & 12 thing but IMO the most important race is heat 1. Lindgren just has to deal with Holder. When Correy won heat 1 over Crump in the '96 K O cup final 2nd leg at Peterborough Wolves confidence visibly grew and 'Boro realised they had a fight on their hands.

Is Adam fit to ride Jonny?

I personally think we are 4 points short from the first leg. Sure we have a chance but we need all the riders in form to make the final this year, and it hasn't been the case.

Wolves with Harris will be impossible to get close to and you can be sure Woffinden and Lindgren will be right on it, backed by Masters and PK. The Wolves reserves are also a different kettle of fish around Monmore.

I am sure the Poole boys will give everything they have got and Middlo will have them fired up. Certainly going to miss Andersen tonight as he can be very good around here, as can Bjarne.

Said all along who goes through here will win the championship. Don't see anything to change my mind. Lets hope for a great meeting great atmosphere and riders remaining safe.

Like a lot of Speedwáy meetings it could be determined by gate positions that set th scene for a heat one advantage and a psycological advantage, especially if that advantage is held in heat two. If it's 2-4 to Poole after heat one and 5-7 after heat two Wolves have a mountain to climb. If Wolves are four points up after heat two anything is possible

Try re-reading the post - I said he has been good enough to hold his own in the 1-5 for most of the year but you just concentrated on the first part which was nothing to do with him.

If you are this touchy about your family then I suggest you don't come on here calling people names!

Harris for Thorssell is a like for like at Monmore, Tungate for Bjarne is the strengthener.

As for Woffy he has been hit and miss. He could score a max or 4 or 5 such is his inconsistency since coming back.

Win or lose the final if we get there im glad we kept with our original 1-7 throughout the season, no ringers, no dodgy average lowering for injured riders no strange disappearing reserves, just good old fashioned principal and integrity. Up The Aces :D

FWIW, I heard a rumour that Wolves had their hand forced into signing Woffy, as Belle Vue were sniffing around him... Woffy then told the Wolves promotion that he was going to go to BV, so they had to react and sign him themselves...

It almost makes you feel sorry for Adams. Almost :D

Good luck to BOTH teams! Hopefully no injuries and no dodgy ref decisions :)

Oh God, please no. This thread will be up to 100 pages by midnight :D:D

Lots of rumours going round the one i heard was that woffy asked if there was a chance he could join Belle vue as he loved the track but he was told that they could not fit him in.

I heard Woffy wanted rides and so started offering himself to teams. Apparently starting with Belle Vue!

I guess once they couldn't got in he spoke to Wolves and they could fit him in and quite rightly they went for it! Be stupid not to.

Middlo just tweeted that Lindback is out.

Oh marvellous1f621.pngAnton out 1f621.png1f621.png1f621.pngnews will please all the Poole haters

Either Karma or a wind up.

Or a mutual deal :P Anton will storm it at BV no doubt, but will probably flounder at Wolves ;)

Having said that, would be a real shame for both teams fans to miss out on seeing a rider of Anton's calibre.
