semion
No idea Spuddy. Didn't score many the only time I've seen him when even Carl Wilkinsin headed him home. Is the E L that High on his list of priorities I wonder.
B.V 72
Hypothetically of course.. Which riders could Bomber guest for if needed on Monday at Wolves? Obviously in case anyone possibly (suddenly) aggravates a previously long standing but never made public (as he didnt want anyone to know), injury over this weekend. The sort of injury that a 'day or twos' rest will sort.. Or maybe someone comes down with a 24hr Flu bug, contracted probably whilst flying, and we all know how notoriously those air cons on planes can effect you (and these lads do some flying don't they?) Or maybe even, one of the lads may need some time out from his job to deal with personal or domestic issues etc and simply by missing just that one night at Wolves on Monday he will be at peace with himself, refreshed, get his life sorted, and be ready to face the world and continue his career from Tuesday morning....., Be good to see all 14 Wolves and Poole riders there on Monday.... Re your last sentence. How can they be Kylmakorpi and Andersen are already missing. Harris could only come in for Pedersen who has a 6.90 ave.Dam it they got that wrong another 0.10 and they could have brought in Dudek. BobC
Of course,Bjarne could 'quit' and receive a 28 day ban from British Speedway. As there arent any more meetings after the play offs, nothing to worry about. Then Poole can call up guests as required!!

On the subject of Buczkowski how committed was he at Poole on wednesday terrific to see. Edited September 23, 2016 by foreverblue
LisaColette
6 points surely has to be the real form guide as that was the most current. So all yours to lose by the looks of things. Would you not agree ?In the B meeting Tai pulled out half way through, so probably had a bearing on it.
Wolfsbane
If the 14 who lined up last wednesday go to the tapes on monday to fight it out no worries for me. Wolves played the Woffinden card. Poole did the same with Lindback.

foreverblue
I forgot about that! We did also have Nicholls guesting who was impressive apart from his first race when he thought the red light should have come on. The much maligned Bjarne also had a decent night albeit at reserve, Ellis had a pretty good night at second string, Newman was excellent too, so although we have one or two riders who may not go well at wolves i don't see any reason to think we can't defend a 12 lead. ray c
I think wolves top 5 will out score our top 5 key to the meeting is the reserves providing it's the same 14 as weds night
B.V 72
I think wolves top 5 will out score our top 5 key to the meeting is the reserves providing it's the same 14 as weds night And there is the reason why Poole will be hard to beat in the play offs Top 5s not a lot in them but their reserves as a pair are far better than the other teams in the play offs.Very hard to do but if a team can keep the reserves scores close they can beat Poole. If not game set and match to Poole. eg semi final 1st leg. heat leaders Poole 34 Wolves 32. reserves Poole 17 Wolves 7. foreverblue
At the start of the season the 'real' combined average of Newman and Ellis was getting on for 14 points which was nearly double the next strongest reserve pairing!! When you add in their four heat leaders and Aussie champion it really is baffling how they didn't walk the qualifiers. I don't expect any mistakes in the knockout cup bit though despite Andersen's injury. The most consistent won which was Belle Vue, Holder maybe on fire now but he has been off form, watt was awful, Newman has been up and down due to injuries,Andersen and Buczkowski haven't been in great form but we know when to peak and on wednesday it looked like we could be peaking at the right time apart from Bjarne. A maximum? Thats a meeting i wish i could go to. Loved Zorro, great entertainer.

DunRobin
Yeah Bjarne will win the meeting But damage his knee jumping off the winner's rostrum & declare himself unfit for Monday!
