teaboy279
The track staff is deffo an issue but for me the clash with TV is a non starter of an arguement as most people with access to watch the sky coverage will also have the record function. I would rather watch live action then get home and watch TV coverage skipping out the ads and the waffle (stopping to listen to interviews I may be interested in). Not many more chances to hear and smell speedway till next easter so I would suggest most people will attend whatever the date. Btw I have no doubt it's the right decision to postpone for the fans and riders alike, who wants a semi final littered with guests and rr. BeoBrummie
they are Wolves track staff because you don't have your own Nothing new about that, I remember in the 80's we had Wolve's start marshal on loan at old Perry Barr (think his name was Kev ?) and woe betide any rider who P1ssed around at the gate! unlike the current incumbent who riders take no notice of! Back in the 70's we "borrowed" Cradley's track man Ted Flannahan (sp?) who sorted out the many bumps and potholes on the new circuit. You know it's called mutal cooperation and long may it continue. Good Luck to Wolves in the play off final! Edited September 29, 2016 by BeoBrummie
Ommer Mon
It was Ted Flanaghan if I remember rightly. He was an excellent track curator and spent a long time with the Dog Heads. PS For the sake of a balanced view - Good luck to Belle Vue for the Play Off Final!
Reviresco
No Danyon on Thursday then.... Feel sorry for the lad not just missing the NL Play Offs but the PL ones too with Ipswich (same as Zach of course, but Dan's injury was later in the season). Ommer Mon
I'm struggling to see any weak links in the Birmingham line up and I suspect our chances overall will hinge on Cleggy and Ash racking up the points at Perry Barr. If we can keep the gap down to 10 I will be very happy indeed. To be honest think it could end up double that. Good luck to all the lads. Here's hoping for some good racing and a minior miracle. Sings4Speedway
Whats up with Slugger Chessell? Seems to have been mysteriously absent over the past few weeks? Would like to see Cradley keep this interesting but i think the 2 Toms and 2 Jacks will have enough to put this tie out of reach.
Heathen1984
Chessell aint mysteriously absent, had a nasty crash at buxton few weeks back and injured from that, we wud much rather have Chessell in the team. This will be a onesided meeting with only morris and clegg giving the brummies any competition. Easy win for Brum.

CUFC_Brummie
Horrendously uncompetitive tonight, track was good but the disparity between the riders was huge. No faults throughout our 6 except for Tom Bacon who was a bit quiet, Clegg and Morris for Cradley impressive as expected with Hopwood certainly playing his part, but the others not even worth writing about. Not how the playoffs should be, expect it to be better against Eastbourne but really hope we go Premier next season.
uk_martin
... expect it to be better against Eastbourne ... Not sure. Memories of 2010 plague me. Remember when "Team Australia" ran rings around all that came before them? Until we bumped into Newcastle in the cup final and in the play-off's? And the Brummies were blown away in both, by the same team? Got a nasty feeling that Eastbourne will be the Newcastle of 2016.
CUFC_Brummie
Oh I mean in terms of the competitiveness of the racing rather than the result, I don't necessarily disagree that they've got far more chance of coming and getting a win and I still would expect them to do it over two legs with their home track advantage, but after two years of dicking most teams left, right and centre I'd be quite happy for it to be a close run thing for a change.
