Weeyin
carnage at zummerset, will they get to heat 10 before curfew?
spanner47
I suppose if you're going to be left with 4 riders, it's just as well it's the best 4 you've got.
Solidmango
Somerset will have a guest on Sunday for BWD, I suspect it could be James Sarjeant!
Gazc
Well after the carnage at Somerset tonight is there going to be anyone left fit for the 2nd leg. Really tough luck on the Rebels tonight can't remember if a team have finished a meeting with only 4 riders left before. Happy with the win although slightly tainted but a win all the same will now need to dust ourselves down and see how Rene and Coty are for Workington tomorrow. Well done lads. soupy
I have seen teams lose 3 riders in a meeting when they had 7 riders but somerset only lost 2 as only had 6 to start with, just a pity it was 2 reserves.Hope all riders get well. oldtimer
Only my second visit to Oak Tree this season so you can blame me for what was a complete train crash disaster of a meeting, I should have stayed at home and watched Strictly. Wish injured riders well. Garcia the most dangerous rider I have seen for a long while.
Solidmango
Very unusual to lose so many riders but they should have had a number 8 while operating r/r.
SharpenRake
Not good to see any rider injured. Bit surprised Somerset didn't name a no 8. Ok it might not have helped that much but at least he could take advantage of an ef or fall. Sure Glasgow will name someone for Sunday. Anyway a win is a win so we still have a chance to reach the 🏆 final. Don't forget the rebels will have there top 5 available on Sunday plus a guest for Bradley who was poor in the league match. So its not over yet.

MANSE
Surely a 9 day ban rules Jake Allen out for sunday
damosuzuki
Sounds a bit of a disaster and glad no one was more seriously injured by the looks of it. Still all to be done at Ashfield..... Looks like Lawson had a nightmare.
nagy1
Remember the Tigers getting fined for having an understrength team and winning a meeting

george.m
Oh no you can't!! Oh yes we did!
Cliffeboy
It all went the Tigers way unfortunately, Rohan and Josh in 13 and 15?would probably have swung it round. No BWD for the rest of the season along with Zach, never mind still the best team over the season by a country mile. Surely a 9 day ban rules Jake Allen out for sundayThink Jake returns for this one. We done it before away at Rye House and we still got a point from that meeting. I think we finished the match with Doyle, Grajczonek, Morris and Kurtz after losing Perry and Rose in heat 2 and someone else at some point!

Doyley and the other aussie lads were throwing a ball about on the centre green whilst waiting for the ambulance to come back.We were also operating r/r as well!!! Paulco
We done it before away at Rye House and we still got a point from that meeting. I think we finished the match with Doyle, Grajczonek, Morris and Kurtz after losing Perry and Rose in heat 2 and someone else at some point! It's unfortunate the way things panned out and I hope the riders hurt make a speedy recovery . It was always something that annoyed me regarding two legged cup ties , that if one of the legs was curtailed in any way , then the home side in the other leg could have an advantage . Clearly the way the meeting was going there was a fair chance Grajczonek and Tungate could have rectified the situation and through heats 13 and 15 could have given the Rebels a slender advantage . But that opportunity was denied them and I cant hide my delight that we going into the second leg with a four point advantage , the heat 2 5-1 being the deciding factor . I was a bit surprised to discover the Oak Tree Arena had a curfew imposed on it , given the relative seclusion it enjoys , but it is what it is . And battle scarred or not , we wont think for one minute that the job is done , there is still a few twists and turns in this tie yet .

If I was a Tiger fan I would look on it as a hollow victory, just the four heat winners and one of those was as you say heat 2. Hopefully the dice will roll our way in the return. There have been a few battles over the years re the curfew.🙄 Edited September 24, 2016 by Cliffeboy
