RS50
According to Leicester speedway website their promoters are Dave Darcy and Neil Machin. Damien Bates listed as owner but not promoter. Not sure if this has any significance.
Fromafar
If we get to the play offs and face Leicester I believe Sheffield would have Josh and Leicester would have Lasse. If one of them was injured would both teams use rider replacement for the same rider?Knowing speedway they will probably toss a coin . spin king
I think that you will find that both Josh and Lasse would be riding for Sheffield if Sheffield and Leicester would meet in the Promotion and Relegation Play Off. as they would if there was a clash of fixtures.
RS50
Yes I think you are right. I was thinking back that Sheffield did not have priority but that was when he was going to ride for Coventry.
graz gp
I hope Scott Nicholls rides for the Tigers like he did for the Lions on Monday. It should be interesting seeing him riding in the championship. It's great to have Lasse back, that makes us even stronger, and it takes a bit of pressure off the other rider's UTT.
RS50
Can anyone clarify re Championship pairs. Was announced originally that would be 5pm start. Now down as 3pm in fixtures. Has it been changed or is the 3pm wrong?
Blackadder
If I remember correctly, the start time was brought forward so that supporters could get home earlier.

Normski
Got a nice email from Sheffield stating 3pm start for pairs, also clarified on BSPA website. Hopefully Sheffield don't do their usual trick of shutting bar/toilet/food area on the 1st bend. Sensible time to start meeting meaning we don't get home at silly o clock. Â Firstly its not the Sheffield promotion who close the bar, however it has been open for league matches so hopefully will be open for the pairs
spin king
Reading the Speedway Star today, and the article about the Poultec Training scheme. Â I was fascinated to read that one of the latest students to sign up to the course was Birmingham/ Berwick rider Jack Parkinson Blackburn. Â I was not aware that he had signed for Berwick. RS50
So if Sheffield ride Redcar on Thursday 28 September and Ipswich in KOC Thursday 5 October how do we fit in play off final (if we beat Glasgow) in time to allow promotion relegation matches scheduled for 9th and 11th October?
