graz gp
I don't no about an out and out no1 what's needed at Owlerton is some dirt on the track, so it's not a gater's paradise. I bet we would have an out and out no1 if it was Josh Grazjczonek. I hope Bates goes to scunny it might do him good. If the points limit goes down to 40pts we won't want any heat leaders just 5 average riders and two 3point reserves, or is that the national league
BenR195
Maybe but cannot see Redcar wanting to let him go. Redcar can't force him to ride for them if he wants to go elsewhere, they tried that with Kus and look what happened there, Jonas loves riding Sheffield track Edited October 29, 2016 by BenR195
Blackadder
From yesterday's Sheffield Star:- Damien Bates said: “It’s been a brave fight, but this year wasn’t meant to be. Ever since we took over Sheffield we’ve been cursed with multiple injuries. We went into a Grand Final without our No. 1 and 5 in Jason and Simon and let’s not forget Dimitri Berge, who’s had a fantastic year. I strongly believe that if we’d have had those three then we could have pushed Somerset all the way. But as things were, I don’t think we could have too many complaints and the best team in the league were crowned Champions in the end. We’ve done exceptionally well when you consider everything and just to reach the play-offs was a decent achievement itself. I’m already thinking towards next season now and I’ve got a few ideas in mind. I know riders I’d love to use, I know riders who definitely won’t be involved so I’ve got a rough idea of how I want the team to be built.” Bates added: “We’ve just got to wait for the AGM now for the rules to be set and then we can get cracking!”
Marcelle
Kyle and Josh nailed on IMO..Probably Arthur and its got to be JPB...Then depending on points limit etc..Dimi..Ricky..I have always liked Robbo..Somerset probably cant keep both Grajz and Tungate...Well the AGM is imminent!...Then We'll see..What if riders are allowed to double up like Bomber ,Scotty..then there's Rory and Davy...could be an interesting winter!
coomie
Well someone had to start it,have to wait for the AGM for next years points and rules but with the team likely to have to be broken up who do we want for 2017,for me Jake and Bradley should be back James Shane's would be good but most teams will want him,if Plymouth don't ride premier jack holder would be good on his average, but let's hear your choices? Don't know why this has come out twice!
Pirates Of Poole
Depends if you go EL as expected!
The Cheese
Not sure both Starke and Wright would fit into a PL side, but would make a good enough reserve pair in the EL if that rumour is true. A middle order of Josh, Rohan and Brady with those two at reserve would certainly be competitive at home. Too early for Allen and BWD to step up, would be a shame to lose them though as both have really impressed this year. Not sure whether I'd want to see Somerset in the EL though... would be great to see some of the top riders here, but is it worth joining the circus for that? If there's no Plymouth next year then I guess having meetings against Swindon and Poole would be a boost.
coomie
Depends if you go EL as expected!think it's quite clear we don't have the fan base to support the more expensive elite racing.would be a bad move.

Scipio777
Track needs looking at first - cant remember a season before when the opposition has provided most of the actual racing, and I have 55 years of racing to remember. home riders, Josh Bates in particular never looking in danger of making a pass at many meetings, whereas the opposition did. For the first time I can remember, the racing at the away tracks I went to was better. Gutted about that. Scunny not too far away, and may get my vote next year. Cant see Garrity, Stead or Greaves returning. Need a team that can pass on whatever track the promotion decide to provide. The info provided about the injuries to Garrity, Stead and Dimitri? - woeful - our website should be the first point of contact for info about our team surely? not individual riders twitter accounts... Need more info and Insight on the web site next year. programme brilliant though! keep that up , brilliant.
