4thbender
The lads look remarkably reminiscent of Blue T*ts in those new race suits (no, honestly - check it out for yourself!). Who paid for those?I hope they're not made to look like t*ts when they visit Ipswich tomorrow night. Steve55
The confusion over who has first call on Rob Branford seems to continue. There's a reference to it in this weeks SS in which the Rockets team manager says "The rulebook says he should have been with us, but we have been over-ruled by the management committee. As we were in the Premier League last year, we've been told that we have to abide by what happened last year and treat him as if he is a Premier League (Championship) rider." If that's the case why is he riding for Rye House tonight and not Sheffield? I understand he is an asset of Redcar, so shouldn't Sheffield (Championship team) have first call on him? Or have the two decided to take it in turns to get guests when fixture clashes occur. It's all as clear as mud to me. Does anyone have a definitive answer? Blackadder
Although Rob Branford signed for Sheffield for 2017 before he signed for Rye House, and his contract is owned by Redcar, who are in the same league as Sheffield, the original decision that Sheffield would get priority has been reversed, because he rode for Rye House last year. Sheffield aren't best pleased about it.

Unbelievable, laughable rubbish!

SCB
Its all about interpretation(as always)No it's not. It can be interpreterated in any other way. Rye House have priority. The issue with speedway isn't the rules are so difficult, its that they're abused and ignored making it hard for the average fan to understand what the hell is going on. Â Couldnt agree more, how come we had priority on Saturday and Rye had last night? Â also what about Branford, he has ridden in two away matches and missed his teams two home matches, how much has this cost him?

Moranboys
well.great news for us.josh bates guests for ipswich at newcastle and comes off in his second ride and has to withdraw from the meeting with a suspected hand injury.poor lad.now we will be without both joshes at edinburgh in the second leg of k.o cup obviously depending on the extent of joshes injury.if soothe way the monarchs are riding at the moment, our prospects don't seem too good.hope i am wrong as i had planned to go up for 2nd leg. Bolt
The sport is crazy, on one hand there are R/R and guests, then guests getting injuried while guesting. Then on the other hand, riders with no teams not even being asked or able to guest...you couldn't make it up!
