Seasons over anyone but Glasgow it is then.

Oh Blobby don't be like that not our fault your p*sh.

Saying that must make a refreshing change another team other than us knocking you out of another competition.

Can't be the best all the time unfortunately although we have been pretty good at it the last few years.

I'm glad we've made your night and I'm

sure you'll enjoy the rest of it.

Ah that old chestnut history in the past didn't take long to drag that up all of 5 mins.

But i have had worse nights thanks for asking in fact I haven't stopped laughing for the past hour.

Lucky old Edinburgh, had it not been for our reserves falling off when in good positions we'd have easily hit 60+. Great performance from all our boys, bring on Somerset.

Edit.

Forgot to mention, can we have Mr Bates every Week, meeting started at 19-43 and was over at 21-01. That's the way I like it.

Didn't expect that but more than happy . Edinburgh were poor apart from Masters and Mark Riss who gave it a go .

Fisher well as NL rider made you look very silly tonight.

Tremendous performance and a much bigger lead than I thought was possible.

A special nod to the referee, Mick Bates.

Meeting done and dusted in 75 minutes.

Going by the updates the monarchs meeting was done and dusted after 10 minutes.

Cant see that Fishers points money will cover the fines.

Riding at the start team and onto the centre green through all the flags and tapes was mindless stupidity.

Presumably he will be billed for a replacement pits phone as well....

But apart from that he took it well.

A great performance by a team seemingly on fire. We would have to completely blob it now to lose over 2 legs. Either way a poor season has turned into a great one now whatever the outcome. In addition I think the adrenaline and excitement has returned on a Thursday night and most importantly we must carry that over into next season. Well done to the massif, a great touch with the loo rolls, reminds us all of years gone by.

I'll settle for that result, I certainly wasn't expecting quite such a big lead. If it wasn't for some mistakes and falls it could have been more as well.

Some very determined riding throughout by all the Witches who were up for it big time tonight, a word on Connor Coles though, the lad can gate and I think was just trying a little too hard when in good points scoring positions. Well done though!

The boys just need to make sure they don't blow it in the second leg.

I know Edinburgh isn't exactly our favourite away track but hopefully we have enough of a lead to secure the semi final tie with Somerset.

A great night for the Witches!
