Popular Post Sidney the robin
Really pleased for Max Clegg after winning the U19s championship and also the NLRC a great week for Max.He has had some tough times but really has stuck to his task and really has come on leeps/bounds.A bit like Jacobs at Belle Vue Clegg has outscored Howarth at times the same as Jacobs has outscored R.Worrall.Hope Max can progress next year great to see a young Brit improving. Joe Beevers
Have to agree. He has had an excellent year from being an unknown to me. Hopefully will stay injury free and have a bright future.

mikec
Seen Max a fair few times, always showed promise, based on the last couple of months it seems like things have clicked into place for him. He's been clocking quick times at Monmore, doing well on the road too, hopefully does the same in the playoffs & beyond. Can't have too many Brits breaking through - wish him well.

Sidney the robin
I wondered if Max might even be considered by Lakeside he was excellent there on the TV meeting and the later fixture.Saying that they have Ben Morley another lad who deserves his chance. waiheke1
Another example of edr being a success. Yes I'm sure he would have eventually made the EL, but without a doubt it has expedited his progress. If they do Dutch the scheme next year, hope they implement a minimum 3 brits per team policy, one of whom must be a protected (I. E. Remain reserve) u21 or u23 ridea. And revert to a conventional heat format.
Joe Beevers
You new to speedway then? No but to keep up with all the up and coming riders every year who are new in, is quite the mind boggle. I mainly follow the top leagues and GP's but do try and keep up with young riders here and abroad but so many come and go or get injured and getting old so haven't got the memory I used to have. To remember the top riders is hard enough from abroad and past eras.
