uk_martin
Apparently there's a sign up warning greyhound customers that there will be construction work going on in the car park during January. Better than nothing I guess. Technically, it has another 2 weeks or so to go before that can be called a lie. Let's hope for continued clement weather to avoid unwanted delays.
BuzzCagney
I hope that it's not been snowing too hard in Swindon. I'd hate for there to be anything slowing down the redevelopment of the site. Winters can be hard in the building trade to make progress in, so let's keep fingers crossed for good fortunes, eh? I've seen worse stadiums than your picture shows! At least there is seating!
keef robin
Just a bulldozer ploughing through the water up on the Hill today. Kid Morra finished sixth in Oz champs won by Master Masters. Edited January 16, 2017 by beefy keefy

EnglishRoundabout
Thought I'd post an update on developments at the stadium. Went to Blunsdon today at around 2pm. No JCB's, no dumper trucks. In fact nothing but a set of iron railings surrounding some rubble and huge puddles from the recent rain. The place was deserted. Steve0
Sad to see Sedge tweet that he still hasn't got a UK club (I thought he would be Leicester or BV bound). Fingers crossed he gets fixed up or he will have to sit out a year!

Fingers crossed he gets fixed up or he will have to sit out a year! I think that Coventry going belly up has probably put pay to him getting a place. It hacks me off as he should be a Robin in place of Bellego.

It is a pity that he could not grab a position for any Championship club as things could pan out that at the end of April or May there may be team changes at Swindon that might have given him an opening!!! Swindon certainly haven't done any favours to Justin & Stefan as club assets that Rosco used as a big reason to have Nick in the team. Either be consistent or say nothing Rosco!!
KevH
Either be consistent or say nothing Rosco!! In his case, I would suggest the latter is far more important than the former
Woz01
The likes of Sedgmen and Lawson will be welcome at Coventry if the miracle happens.

I think he will fail to get a work permit for the whole season if he is not signed by a U.K. Club by 31 January 2017.
hyabb17
So we have the majority of our home fixtures within July & August, assume this is to allow for the move (I hope). Nicer weather as well......
remembertheracers
What a dreadful fixture list. Three matches close together in April and nothing till the end of May. Hardly going to generate interest. Wonder if it based on the latest Clark Osbourne timetable on portakabin delivery etc? hyabb17
I would imagine it's to allow construction work to continue, they did indicate that we would have fixtures later in the season. I for one think it's good have the majority of matches throughout the actual summer months. Warmer weather may encourage more fans. They've also picked the two derbies at home on bank holiday's, not a bad move I don't think. I hope that this gap in April/ May is allowing space for further KOC rounds.
