Found this great item in the local paper, now I know they are not always first with the news but this is a bit much.

Definately. Make the most of it, it won't happen again... ;)

Rosco stating we are now looking at changes...in all honesty something has been planned before the season started just a case of who where and when...Grondal looks likely just has no real speed and we can't be left weak at reserve all season

Emil has been doing fine till the last couple of meetings, so like Rohan last year Rosco needs to help Emil find the reason for the down turn and see if it can be sorted very quickly before the new averages come in.

If changes have been planned I am surprised at the scores of certain riders.

I wonder if Rosco is hoping the comment does what it did to Rohan last year.

I actually think Emil's scores generally have been a little inflated , he scored well at Rye although that's a track he has always done ok on but apart from home to Poole where he tried hard but made errors he's looked slow at Blunsdon and to be honest his score at Leicester was flattering with all the falls and efs , been ineffective last two away meetings it's a shame seems a good bloke but we like everyone are going to be making tweaks once we have done 4+4 be naive not to ...top 5 will certainly stay onboard though and quite right too

And to be fair can't compare Emil to Rohan in any way sadly

Emil has been poor as the main reserve & Stefan has been flying at Scunny.

We need a reserve who might swap places with Bradley & himself over the season.

That might work against Stefan who might not be quite ready for the top 5 but he got the better of Nick in the Scunny vs Berwick meeting.

If we can get a reserve in that is capable of scoring good points, winning heat 2 at home week in week out and able to swap with BWD we might actually do ok this season.

Stefan looked ok the season before last when he was with BV but disappointed me last year when a Robin making too many basic errors.

That said, if he has got his confidence back and scoring points regularly then we would be foolish not to consider a change.

Potentially tough on Emil, however, no room for sentiment and we need to maintain this good start.

Would have liked Stefan this year, but who was to know how well he would be riding, but his average at 5.14 is too high and would not fit as the team has not dropped enough points off its average. This is why before the season started I hinted that Jason might not score too many points following his injury. Emil has an average of 4.39 so at the moment I do not think Stef is an option.

If the opportunity arose it might be worth giving Stefan a guest ride at Swindon to see if his scoring elsewhere so far this season can be seen at Blunsdon.

We don't really have enough points to pay with to make a meaningful change. The other problem is the sheer inconsistency of the bottom four riders.

It would be great to get BWD a spell at reserve, but I can't see how we could re-jig the team to allow that, especially when Bradley and Adam are improving, while Emil and Zak are largely stationary.

Nick and Jason have two 5-1s so far in meeting Poland v Australia. Poland 8 Aus 16 after 4 heats

Meeting result Poland 49 Aus 41 Jason 2,3,2,3,1 11+1, Nick 3,2,0,t,0 5+1

That was a shame for Nick as a good overall score might have come to the notice of a Polish team if he wants one.

Adam is improving, Brad is more than doing his job as is Zak.

The weak link is Emil who has picked up some lucky points in his total due to falls & e/f's.

Bellego must be the signing of the season, Morra totally different rider from last year. This seven, or maybe with a change at reserve as titles are won with a strong pairing, can only go onwards and upwards.

Great form from the boys at the moment.

The signing of Bellego was a great one so far. I think many people were a bit baffled by it, particularly as his average was almost identical to Justin Sedgman's, but Rosco had clearly done his homework and decided he was someone he wanted for a reason.

The top end strength will, unfortunately, make it very difficult to make changes lower down the order and our scores this year will probably make us pretty close to the new points limit as we've had mainly close matches.
