Swindon 2017

Recommended Posts

If Bjarne and Hans was fit then we would have won on aggregate.

You wouldn't have, you didn't. Grow up and move on. Let the Swindon folk have their thread back or is this yet another thread you want to dominate. #bangsheadagainstwall.

and yet again another teams thread is taking over by the 3 wise monkeys from Poole. and they all like each others posts bless them.

It's pretty sad but all too expected these days. :nono:

So Swindon are trying to cheat by bringing in a rider on a lower average than his official one. Why does that not suprise me?

CHEATING SCUMBAGS!

Seen fans posting about it on twitter and saying it's being looked in to which may mean a team change for Swindon if over the limit. Nothing official though so not sure how true it is.

And you have this on good ground? If so please show me?

Also, I believe that once on the bspa site it's been ratified by them?

The Twitter police do amuse me.

Will Swindon put some kind of statement out to clarify this matter?

Why? Because of a few gossiping old ladies on Twitter?

He is in the team on the website, and he's been announced as signed. Why would they need to put out a statement just because you want one?

If any issues genuinely arise, that's the time to put out a statement.

Personally, if Swindon are now told they can't sign him I reckon they should tell everyone to stuff their crappy new-look Premier League. Nobody's going to turn up to watch these third rate teams anyway.

It doesn't matter about the riders reputation abroad. Its a completely different set-up and stuff in Britain.

Lindback isn't better than Hans on British shores by the way. Abroad yes but Britain No.

Not shocked about Swindon trying to fiddle the averages due to their tail end of the team.

Mind you with a team like theirs I would end up trying to fiddle an average or two :D

pot and kettle of the highest order from the multi-alias one and his follower :P:rofl:

Question for all the Swindon fans. If you take out Jason Doyle and put in a 3.00 reserve you have a Championship team.

Wouldn't it be possible to run in both leagues with six of the seven riders in both teams giving you 16 Premiership meetings and 16 Championship meetings often run on two different nights but mainly one meeting a week.

Obviously riders wouldn't be riding elsewhere

I mentioned that a while ago. It was pointed out to me that the maximun doubling up maximum of 2 riders per side would prevent it.

No difference from last season in regards to our team & we almost made the playoffs. With the new league as it is I don't see a major problem.

Great idea except for the fact that you'd have to fit in 32 away fixtures also

The league fixture programme consists of about 26 weeks (taking out World Cup week to)

I can't see that many fans turning out to watch a weakened Premiership team week-in, week-out, let alone watching an even weaker Championship team for just a few quid less.
