SUPERACE
Surprised by r/r. For me r/r for your number 1 is always a no go. If belle vue ride like they did in the b fixture then i can see us winning. I also cant see how AJ is fit to ride on Wednesday.
TonyE
The post was about if Poole were using guests instead of signing Lindback. On the Lakeside v Belle Vue thread - nothing new there then! Surprised by r/r. For me r/r for your number 1 is always a no go. If belle vue ride like they did in the b fixture then i can see us winning. I also cant see how AJ is fit to ride on Wednesday. It is the second leg next Monday that AJ is talking about. Steve Shovlar
So they need a guest fir the first leg only. Surely there's a rider out there who could do a job. Â Harris?
Bryn
So they need a guest fir the first leg only. Surely there's a rider out there who could do a job. Â Harris? Would a less than fully fit Chris Harris score more at Lakeside than Kennett, Nilsson, Bridger & Lawson each taking a r/r ride would SS?

Phil The Ace
R/R ain't that bad. I bet kim wins heat 1 and kennett will win his race so that a decent return with a few points added from the others Edited September 19, 2016 by Phil The Ace
Bryn
lakeside just seem to lack ambition  Can you explain exactly what you mean by that please? The reasons for opting to use r/r to cover for AJ in Wednesday's first leg have surely been explained in detail via the club's official website this morning but if you haven't read that, go to: http://www.lakesidehammers.co/play-off-team-update/
Woz01
Lakeside going R/R is probably better than going for a guest that's actually available.
stevebrum
So they need a guest fir the first leg only. Surely there's a rider out there who could do a job. Harris? It would seem simple but the choice from bottom 4 is limited. KK seems the logical answer although with AJ's average they could have asked any of the top foreign boys to 'guest' as a 7 pointer.
ruckerroo
Im half guessing the track will be like the outside lane of the m25 and the home lads will be set up for it from the word go. Â I would rather have rr than bomber tbh

Bryn
Latest news on AJ at: http://www.speedwaygp.com/news/article/5235/aj-racing-on-eggshells but I don't think I'd do what he's doing even if I was battling to get my typing finger back working ok after injury! He is probably good for about 5 points if he has a good night.

marko
It's not just the rider replacement rides you have to cover though and on a good day I can only see us getting about 75% of what AJ would from his programmed rides, but who do you go with in heat 15? Kim and who else? Six rides for them, that's another problem of rider replacement and if God forbid one of the others was to get injured your really in a mess. E I Addio
So they need a guest fir the first leg only. Surely there's a rider out there who could do a job. Harris? On Bombers two visits with Coventry this year he scored 4+1 and 3+1. Hardly want you want from your guest No1. Â Then we have the horror of last years guests when AJ wad injured. We had Lindgren, Doyle , Schlein and someone else (I forget who). I think they scored about 12 or 13 between them !. Â The only visitors that have racked up decent scores at Lakeside this year are either too high in the averages (I.e. Doyle and Puk ) or they ride for Belle Vue. Â It's very difficult because at their best Kennet , Bridger and Nilsson are all capable of very good scores on their home track and Lawson is OK, but what is needed is someone who can raise the team and team ride the way that AJ can, and there aren't many who can simply walk in from abroad, never having ridden the track before and perform too play off standard. 2008 all over again ! orion
So they need a guest fir the first leg only. Surely there's a rider out there who could do a job. Â Harris? I told you already that lakeside would find it hard to get a guest ...that's why it will be a easy victory over the two legs for Belle vue ..hope it's sunk in now
Steve Shovlar
Fair enough. Going to be easy semi. And if one of the Hammers gets injured early on the second leg might not be required.
