Aces51
Better than KK who got a maximum guesting against us at Poole. Lindback wont get a max. They couldn't have KK his average is now too high. Much is going to depend on how we do in this match at Lakeside. If we don't keep it to within 8 points it will be an interesting second leg. Edited September 19, 2016 by Aces51
foreverblue
Scored 7 from 5 rides, Tungate has hit double figures in all 3 of his visits to the NSS Hopefully that won't happen, but if they do then they will have my support in the final. A world cup isn't the same as a league meeting. THIS IS A LAKESIDE V BV THREAD WHY DO POOLE SUPPORTERS HAVE TO KEEP BRINGING POOLE ISSUES INTO EVERYTHING F OFF TO YOUR OWN THREADS Except Belle Vue fans bought up the KK/ Linback scenario. Of the bottom 4 teams only Doyle and NKI have higher averages than AJ.

John Leslie
KK for both legs is the only logical choice.
poole keith
have not read all the thread but if lakeside had decided to push the boat out, who could they have brought in as a replacement for the play offs?
TonyE
The problem with that is KK and the Hammers have history. In the current EL setup and Play-off issues, AJ is irreplaceable. Edited September 19, 2016 by TonyE
Hornsey
I wouldn't pick KK as he has let us down before. However, apart from Lambert, who goes well at Belle Vue, who is there that will do a decent job? It looks like AJ's replacement is...AJ, who could be back for the away leg next Monday. R/R on Wednesday, as KK (who is on stand-by if AJ isn't fit) is riding in Poland.
Steve Shovlar
If Lakeside go with r/r they are waiving the white flag before a wheel has turned.
Hornsey
I like your spelling Steve- Waiving means rejecting, so we are rejecting the white flag. In which case, I agree with you!

marko
Exactly as I thought it would go Steve, all they cared about was making the play offs and cashing in on it, R/R saves on another riders travelling expenses etc. Sorry Poole, Wolves fans and neutrals alike, this tie will be all over as a contest very quickly. HAMMER180
It is r/r as aj reckons he will be back for the second leg. KK in Poland and DK wants to do tv on weds oh dear
marko
They said they had a plan Tony, clearly they didn't, the choice of guests were limited I admit but running R/R puts a massive strain on man and machine of the other six, they can't afford to have a single rider off form now. We will see on Wednesday- Weren't you convinced that Friday's match shouldn't go ahead before Lakeside murdered Swindon?

Yep based on the known facts I thought the weather would win but that area got lucky, never had any doubt Arena would win on the night if it went ahead, just a case of how much. Hammers may well scrape a win on Wednesday but trying to match AJ's points scoring is almost impossible, I think Aces will take it based on Nicholls form last week, and the fact that they will have one of the Worrals at reserve. Brian
So the alternative is what? King wants the TV work, KK isn't available so that realistically leaves Lambert to cover number 1. R/R is the only realistic option but everybody needs to up their game.
