Steve Shovlar
This match can go either way, just as our semi v lakeside can go either way, but poole fans are scared stiff of wolves. They were desperate for swindon to beat Belle vue so that swindon got through and the Aces theb decided to take wolves rather than swindon again. Not scared stiff, but obviously wary that they are more than capable of beating us over the two legs. It's not easy to call. It will be down to who wants it most and whatever luck one side has. If we lose then we would have been beaten by the better side and well done to them.
Beowulf
After signing Woffinden, and before Anderson was injured, I would have put this tie at 50/50. With the signing of Lindback I would now say 55/45 to Poole. Lindback can certainly ride Monmore Green. Wolves record at Poole varies between poor to dismal, although to be fair in the last decade a lot of that is due to the quality of teams that Poole have had. I expect Poole to win by 12-14 points, with Wolves winning at home by 6-8. Poole in the final. Starman2006
Starman can always ring Ladbrokes up,and ask them why it takes all day on Wednesday to clear all the dog s--t up from the previous nights meeting. We have the same problem at Poole. Stop making stupid excusses. Care to explain why it's stupid and what other posts are stupid? What is stupid is suggesting Wolves should ride on a night they don't have access to their track and also asking for a statement why. I'm happy to respect your opinion if you can explain what part is stupid. Thank you. Care to tell us why you do not have access to the track on a Wednesday night then ? The real reason, not some load of junk. I think it's impossible to explain it to him ....Poole would not be able to ride on certain nights of the week just like most of the clubs in the uk ,..I think everyone understand that bar one person . You wouldn't know. Shut up. Edited September 20, 2016 by Starman2006
sparkafag
Poole will quite comfortably take care of Wolverhampton I think – Wolves bottom end will be found wanting.
BurntFaceMan
I'd imagine Poole will be carrying a lot of the weight of Bjarne and Kyle unfortunately!

With woofy now a 2nd string together with pk and kyle howarth flying of late its the top end that concerns me more !!
KEITH M
There's massive home advantage at Monmore. But not on Wednesday's 😀 Edited September 20, 2016 by KEITH M
foreverblue
I'm very hopeful of a good lead to take to Monmore as although Lindgren and Woffy will no doubt go well they shouldn't beat Holder and Lindback plus we have strength at reserve although Howarth should know his way round Wimborne Road, Clegg has been good lately but may struggle at Poole while the middle of both teams may cancel each other out to a certain extent

In the past he's been good round Poole and a good night in the reserve role from him will keep it close.

LisaColette
Howarth is the key for Wolves. In the past he's been good round Poole and a good night in the reserve role from him will keep it close.I disagree, I think Thorsell and PK are the key. If they get 7+ each, then that will be enough to keep it close. He was pretty good when we went to Monmore although didn't look in complete control. He wasn't in control when Wolves were at Poole last time. Rode a bit like Garrity. Actually in one race he let a Wolves 5-1 slip to a 3-3.

Not sure PK is capable of 7 in a meeting anymore, seems to start ok then struggle later on in the meeting, Thorsell on the other hand is flying and is easily capable of 7. I think Howarth is over riding and will make mistakes although is capable of beating either of our reserves.
Beowulf
He was pretty good when we went to Monmore although didn't look in complete control. He hasn't looked in control all season ! Unfortunately, in the top 5 I think PK is the weak link, so would expect around 3/4 points.
LisaColette
A head to head between Brady and PK over the 2 legs, individual score wise would be interesting. Could be the difference between winning and losing.

SteveLyric2
Just a passing thought - if the EL go for Weds/Thursday as the EL race night(s) in future years, what would Wolves do? I don't have any issue with the choice of home/away legs - just interested!

scottyfan
He was pretty good when we went to Monmore although didn't look in complete control. Howarth has scored 4+1 from 5 rides (ELA) and 7 from 5 rides (ELB) at Poole this year but Clegg has scored 0 from 3 rides in both meetings. PK never rode in the A match at Poole and Brady scored 12+1 riding at reserve. In the B match at Poole PK scored 1*1 1 1= 4+1 and Brady scored 3 1* 0 0 = 4+1, so no difference in there scores. At Wolves Brady scored 6 points at reserve in the A match, again no PK (Mikkel Bech was still in the team same as the A match at Poole) In the B match, PK scored 3 1 0 1* = 5+1 and Brady scored 0 2 3 3 0 = 8. Steve Shovlar
I believe tomorrow is going to be a very exciting meeting with loads of great races. The result is completely unpredictable. Anything could happen from a Poole win, a Wolves win and anything between. Can't wait. Be there early!
