CB252
Would you agree that tai is also not a 7pter? Woffinden is using an earned average from 2 seasons ago (when he was the reigning World Champion) acquired in an almost identical race format to the one being used now, so there's absolutely no issue with it. Lindback also has an average, all be it one attained many seasons ago, but I can't imagine anyone sane sitting down and thinking that re-assessing the average of the British Grand Prix winner to 7.00 is a good idea. Only in British Speedway eh?
tellboy
If you think Woffinden for Kylmokorpi was ok, you can have no gripe whatsoever on Lindback for Andersen. Where have i said i have a gripe with the Lindback signing.I have merely stated you thought Wolves signing Woffinden was wrong, but the Lindback one is ok.If you think the Lindback signing is ok you must think the Woffinden one is ok too. Now i will have a gripe with the Lindback signing if Andersen proves his fitness and is ok.

It's about time the league started to attract bigger names, not just Poole.

CB252
Yeh why not. We have to entice them back somehow. Do we? Enticing them back should be the last thing on our minds. They bring nothing, when they can be bothered to turn up. You're not one of these dangerous individuals that think the answer to British Speedway's ills is riding on ridiculous midweek race nights to benefit half a dozen riders are you?
Steve Shovlar
That's not even remotely what I said - I have no problem with his signing if he was replacing Holder but not for Hans - that's just plain wrong! So replacing Kylmakorpi with the world champion is fine? You got double standards. Woffinden rode a season in a sulk for Wolves to get that average. A wc should be a 9. No really no, and i don't think it would matter what british speedway does you won't get them back, and clubs, or the majority would not be able to afford them. nbaynes
Great piece of business by Poole. However any chance Lindback will get a ban for refusing to ride for his Swedish club the other night?

Bald Bloke
Too right they should, is the actual rule that another rider can only be signed for an injured rider? I believe it is.So if Hans declares himself fit and rides elsewhere,it can't be right .

It was in the rules but replacing a second string/third heat leader with a world champ was a joke. So logically, if that was ok, replacing Hans, a better rider than Kylmo, with Lindback, a lesser rider than Woffinden, should also be ok. Or is it just a but of the old dislike of Poole clouding your judgement?
Gavan
Page after page of the same 2 Poole fans trying so hard to explain why Lindback on a 7 is totally fine but yet failing miserably it's rather comical. Enjoy the league title nobody really cares
LisaColette
I once had a friend called Gavan. He died from taking too many heart burn tablets.... Poor sod...can't believe gavisgon !!!! That is so bad!! Speaking of Gavan I thought the idea of going to work was to do work, no wonder he doesn't want anyone to know his work details.
