E I Addio
No they wernt. Replacement for long term injury only. Hans wasn't long term injured so no replacement. Guest or r/r only. Lindbacks 5 points should be removed. Playing devils advocate, is there any specific definition of what "long term injury " means in Speedwáy terms? In normal English I would say perhaps a couple of months at least but knowing the way these things work in Speedwáy is there room for Ford to argue that it can be interpreted as a couple of weeks ? In other words, could this be another case of Ford finding a loophole in a poorly drafted rule?

Woz01
:D Umm, no he didn't! He said he wasn't sure when he would be back, he said it could be one week or three weeks. So it isn't a long term injury if he suggested he could be back in a week.
mikebv
As the term refers specifically to the play offs. You would expect (to facilitate a replacement) the 'long term' injury must be expected to last (at least) the length of the play offs.. Â Otherwise (like you do all year) a guest or RR would be the call to cover the 'short term' issue.. Â Hans' injury has lasted less than one week of the play offs. So can hardly be described as 'long term' therefore no longer fitting the criteria within which Poole applied for his replacement... Â Not saying Poole have cheated or been deliberately economical with the truth, however now Hans is back riding, surely he must now ride over here too? Â And Poole face consequences for having a facility that (honestly applied for I am sure) they shouldn't have had? Â Anyway, more importantly, God Speed for Bjarne.. Â Your twisted knee is in so many prayers tonight... heathen chemistry
not only did poole get a facility that they shouldnt of got but they also managed to get lindbacks average down to fit him in , from 7.94 to 7.00 absolute stitch up job, can anyone remember when a rider has ever has there average readjusted just in time for ther play offs ??? i wonder if there was a team mid season lokking to strengthen and were looking at lindback but had to change tactic when told his average was 7.94??? Â candle light vigil for bjarne's knee ... Bagpuss
Absolute joke, as it is every single year. Â This is a great opportunity for Buster to flex his muscles by doing the right thing and penalising Ford but I bet he won't, it will be just like all of his predecessors. Â Come on Wolves #beatthecheat Edited September 25, 2016 by Gordon Bennett

Come on Wolves #beatthecheat Trouble is though, the side that he's put together even without Andersen in it will progress through to the final. As much as many people want it to happen, Wolves will not prevail as they simply do not have the firepower to win on aggregate. Â Like him or loathe him, Ford is a masterful promoter. You can bet your life he will have his 2017 team in his mind already, probably with a back up of riders who could slot in where necessary, and that includes next season's play off's. Â Winning is everything to Matt Ford. And to be fair, it's winning that brings the pundits through the turnstiles.

Its on a knife edge and a patch up Poole could get wholloped. Â True about Matt. Important to win if possible but harder each year. All these people crying foul have to realise no rules have been broken. If they had the changes would not have been allowed. To say Matt has all the others in his back pocket is also pure nonsense. He just plays by the rules available to him the same as ther other riders. Â Trouble is someones opinion is taken as gospel and if repeated enough times some on here actually start to believe it!
